Homecoming Pt. 1

"Khalil are you sure you wanna do this? I mean it's never to late to back out. Hell I don't even think I'm feeling this." I said looking at Khalil, he looked confident but I knew better I've known Khalil damn near all my life and I could see the nervousness in his eyes. He fixed the tie on his all black suit and forced a smile.

"Yeah let's get this over with." Khalil said walking into the office, I followed behind him and the first thing I noticed was Brian sitting at his desk typing away, he looked at us and smiled.

"I'm so glad you both could make it, please make yourselves comfortable. I'll be ready here in a few minutes." Brian said. Me and Khalil looked at each other and sat in the two chairs in the office, every so often Brian would look at Khalil with a lustful gleam in his eyes. After waiting a few minutes Brian finally closed his laptop and pulled out a tape recorder. "So I'm going to record this so I can go back and pick out the best questions." He said smiling.

"That's fine, if you don't mind we're going to record this as well. Just in case we have to go back and make sure nothing was changed." I said placing my phone on the table. Brian looked at me and smiled.

"That's fine." Brian said, as he started the interview. "So how long have you two known each other?" Brian asked.

"You wanna answer this one?" I said looking at Khalil. He didn't say anything, he just smirked and shook his head. "I guess it's on me, umm me in Khalil met in kindergarten and I don't know we just clicked." I said smiling.

"And you've been inseparable ever since?" Brian asked.

"Yeah  pretty much, except of course when we went to college Enzo went to UGA and I went to Notre Dame, but once we reconnected it was like we've never missed a beat." Khalil said.

"So you've never had any issues?" Brian asked and we both started laughing.

"You can ask any brothers in the history of forever that question and the answer will never change and it will always be yes..... of course we've had our issues but as a family we work through them." Khalil said.

"Well now that it's no longer a secret that your both gay.... have there been any issues over men?" Brian asked, again me and Khalil looked at each other and started laughing.

"Umm..... no, we haven't " I said laughing.

"Okay well that's great to hear, so what was it like coming out for both of you?" He asked us.

"Well for me it was never really a secret, I've always had a thing for both men and women. So it wasn't really hard it was mostly like 'we already knew'." I said.

"And you Khalil?" Brian asked.

"It was hard at first, I was afraid of what my fans would think, I was afraid of what my team would think, and I was afraid what my family would think..... but after I thought about it I realized that I was hurting them more by lying to them." Khalil said.

"And how did they handle it?" Brian asked.

"I've gotten nothing but love and support from them, you know they have my back. There are a few people who have negative things to say but that's with everything you do, there are going to be people who bring you down so it's easy for me to brush off the negativity and focus on the positive." Khalil said smiling.

"So are you both single?" Brian asked.

"I am." I said quickly.

"Khalil?" Brian said looking at him.

"Actually I'm not, the person I'm with is the love of my life...... I think, no I know he's the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with." Khalil said. The rest of the interview went pretty smoothly and when we were done, we decided to get some food.
