I had fucked up.... like royally fucked up and the worse part about it was I had nobody to blame but myself as Cam had pointed out more than once. As I sat in my room with Cam and Legacy I kept trying to come up with ways to get myself out of this situation without looking like a bad guy, but no matter how you looked at it there was no way I could get out of this looking good. It all started two days ago, I was chilling with Nico..... I know what most of ya'll are thinking I should just avoid Nico at all cost but I couldn't he was my best friend and I'm not the type of person to just cut someone out of my life..... anyway we were playing basketball and I mentioned to him about the barbecue Khalil and Enzo were throwing and then I ended up inviting him to it. It wasn't until I got home that I remember I had invited Antonio as well now I was sitting here trying to figure out who should I un-invite, but I couldn't choose.
"I'm telling you this now Dev, I can't be held liable for anything I say to Nico. You already know how I feel about that nigga so I'm saying if he shows up he better not even look at me funny our I'm beating his ass." Cam said pacing around my room, while Legacy sat at my desk with an amused smirk on his face.
"Legacy I really don't see the humor in this and since you wanna laugh and shyt what do you think I should do?" I asked pissed.
"Honestly I say let them both come. Before you say something just hear me out, if you tell Antonio he can't come it'll make it seem like you have something to hide and even though ya'll are just friends that's not how you wanna start the relationship ya'll are trying to build and if you tell Nico he can't come then it'll be like you're sending him mixed signals, one minute you wanna hang out the next you don't wanna see him, he'll probably get confused and do something stupid.... again. But if you let them both show up you can introduce them to each other that way you can show Nico that even though you're moving on you still want him in your life and you can show Antonio that you're not trying to hide the fact that you and Nico are still friends and probably earn his trust." Legacy said.
"Cam remind me never to never ask his advice again." I said shaking my head.
"Fine I'll keep my opinions to myself, I'm going down stairs." Legacy said getting up and walking out the room laughing.
"Cam what should I do bro?" I asked sitting on the bed next to him.
"You already know my opinion on the matter and at the end of the day it's not my call Dev..... but Legacy does have a point if you're going to have both of them in your life they're going to want to meet eventually I say get it out of the way early." Cam said.
"How was your trip to Miami?" I asked wanting to change the subject.
"It was cool for the most part, I spent all day yesterday arguing with my girl, she's pissed because I wanted to go to school in Texas instead of Florida so we argued all day, I almost didn't come back, she almost convinced me to stay, but at the end of the day I couldn't." Cam said.
"Why didn't you ask her to transfer to UT?" I asked.
"She loves Florida too much that's all she's talked about since we were kids and as much I love her I could ask her to choose between me and her dream. I told her I would fly home whenever I could and once I finished school I would go where ever she wanted. After that she calmed down but she told me if I cheated on her she'd shove a pencil in my dick, and I believe her." Cam said laughing. Before we could talk about it some more Khalil knocked on my door and walked in.
" Can I talk to you real quick? Enzo told me you did something that I should know about what's up?" Khalil asked puling a chair next to my bed.
"I'm just gonna come out and say it I invited both Nico and Antonio to the cookout and I really don't know what to do." I said looking him in the eyes.
