Everybody was getting along, especially Antonio and the dude Tyson who seemed to be becoming fast friends as well as Devin and Seven who sat next to them laughing like old friends, while everyone talked I was only focused on Lorenzo who kept shooting me lustful glances. I honestly didn't care for the game I just wanted to be somewhere with Lorenzo alone, I looked at Cam who sat in the corner of the room by himself sulking. I knew what his problem was he was lonely I had Lorenzo, Devin had Antonio, even Tion's group were all booed up except for one of the twins Izayah or Iran I didn't know which one but from the way he talked on his phone he even had someone to go back to but Cam had no one at home waiting for him, I knew he missed my sister like crazy. I got up and walked over to him Cam glanced up at me then turned his attention back to the game.
"You good bro?" I asked sitting next to him, Cam didn't say anything he looked down at the ground and that's when I knew something was really wrong. "Cam bro talk to me what's going on?" I said looking at him.
"Why are we even here? It's not like Khalil's playing, that nigga isn't even in this state so why are we watching this wack ass game." Cam said standing up and storming out the room.
"Give him some space he'll be aight." Lorenzo said walking up behind me, I turned and looked at him and my heart did a little tap dance. "So we're thinking about going out to eat after the game but if you want we could skip it and go chill back at my place, I know you don't have class until noon tomorrow so I can have you back in time." Lorenzo said quietly.
"Let's not skip it Devin seems to be enjoying himself and I really think Cam needs to get off campus every once in a while. But we can still chill later." I said smiling at him, Lorenzo smirked and sat in the chair next to mind and finished watching the game. I sat back and looked around the room again truthfully I was watching the dude Seven and Tyson, the way they were with each other was different from anything I was used to seeing it was on a whole other level from what I was used to seeing with Devin and Antonio or even Khalil and Marcus. It was like they always had to be touching each other whether it was Seven rubbing Tyson's shoulders or Tyson picking imaginary lint off of Seven's shirt, and when they looked at each other it was nothing but pure love in their eyes just being around the two of them you couldn't help but smile, that was the kind of relationship I wanted with Lorenzo.
After the game was over Tion joined us in the suite and asked if we were going to eat, Lorenzo agreed and went to go look for Cam. I stood in the corner listening to the twins talk and honestly them niggas were ridiculously funny, I glanced up and Tion was staring at me then quickly turned his head when he saw me looking.
"So we've decided to go to Pappas Bros Steakhouse, Cam's already in the car so whenever ya'll ready let me know." Lorenzo said looking me in the eyes.
"I'm ready now." I said reaching for his hand. He smiled and put his arms around my shoulder and we walked out to the car both of us smiling.
