As Zyshaun ran around giving orders trying to make sure everything was perfect I was sitting at the table ready to go, it was Christmas Eve and while I should be home with my family I was stuck here with Zyshaun trying to make sure everything was set up for this party but my heart wasn't into it, I sat a table going through my phone while Zyshaun did his thing if it was up to me we would've just rented out a club but Zyshaun decided he wanted to rent an entire hotel. I looked at my watch and saw it was getting close to eight p.m. I was so over this I said to myself getting up, I walked over to Zyshaun who was yelling at the party planners about table clothes, and tried not to laugh whenever he got into business mode it was hard to be around him he was a such a perfectionist. As bad as I wanted to leave I knew I couldn't because my name was on this too, so I had to make sure everything was to my standards even if I didn't want to be here.

"Zy I think this is enough for one night I'm pretty sure these nice people want to get home to their families and so do I." I said looking in his eyes.

"You may have a point Lil', besides I'm tired and I need to go home and get my strength if I'm going to be dealing with Marcus's mom a.k.a my future wife." Zy said laughing. "Ya'll good to go but I want ya'll here bright in early in two days." Zyshaun said to the party planners, I shook my head and we started walking towards the door.

"You didn't tell Rose about the party did you? Because I'm can't deal with this drama, it's bad enough that I have to worry about Vic still plotting now I gotta worry about Rose..... it's just too much." I said as we got in the elevator.

"Nah I haven't spoken to Roseline since she quit, but this party is the only thing people are talking about everyone is trying to be there so I'm not surprised she heard about it. But if your that worry about it I can gladly make her disappear for you." Zyshaun said smiling.

"Zy you know I love you like a brother, but I know how you work you'll get rid of her but you'll want something in return. I'm good Rose a little crazy but I don't think she'll do anything to hurt me..... or Marcus." I said as the elevator opened.

"Hell hath no fury bro and Roseline is isn't just crazy she smart. But if you think she'll try something then I'll hire extra security to make sure she doesn't get in and it won't cost you any favors." Zyshaun said laughing.

"Thanks man, you're a real friend." I said laughing as I pushed him gently.

"I try..... But tell me this is Marcus's mom making that apple pie again? Because I swear to god last time I took some home I only took one bite a day just so I could make it last longer and when I was finally done eating it, I curled up in a ball on my bed and cried because I missed it so much." Zyshaun said seriously.

"Yeah I think so......" I said hoping into my car.

"I'm telling you Lil' I might marry Marcus's mom and if she says no then I'll just kidnap her and hold her hostage.... though her freaky ass might like that." Zyshaun said laughing.

"I'm just going to pretend  didn't hear that, let's get back to the house so I can fuckin eat since you decided we were going to be here all day." I said pulling off.

We got back to the house and it was total chaos, not in a bad way just everyone was moving around. The sleeping arrangements weren't as crazy this time with Enzo on the road and Legacy back in Miami we had two extra rooms so Devin didn't have to give up his room which I knew he was happy about, speaking of Devin where was he at? I'd go find him in a minute I just had to make sure everyone was alright, I looked at Zyshaun and saw he was in the kitchen flirting with Marcus's mom and Carmen, I just shook my head. Marsean was kissing Tonya's stomach and I could tell her water could break any day now, Cam was on the phone with Liberty who would be down here in two days with Legacy, my dad was talking to Cadence and Carly. Then I saw Marcus and my heart stopped..... damn even while he was chopping onions he still had a way of making me feel like a teenager staring at his crush from afar. Later for that right now I had some other stuff to take care of, I walked back into the living room and grabbed Cam pulling him upstairs and busted into Devin's room. Should've fuckin known I smiled as Devin laid across his bed knock out.

"Who's turn is it to wake him up me or you?" Cam asked. I smiled and counted down on my fingers from three then we both jumped on him. "Wake up bum." Cam yelled. Devin rolled over and I noticed a purplish bruise starting to form on his ribs.

"Devin what the hell happened to your side?" I asked looking at him.

"I had to break up a fight yesterday and I got pushed into a dresser but it' cool, now is there a reason why ya'll are jumping on me because if not then I'm going back to sleep." Devin said trying to roll back over.

"I came in here to give ya'll your Christmas present but if you wanna go back to sleep then we can always wait until morning." I said standing up to leave.

"Hold up let's not get carried away, if you wanna give me my gift now I'll gladly take it." Devin said sitting up. I knew he wouldn't be able to resist, I thought turning around. I sat on the bed in between him and Cam.

"This is my gift to both of ya'll, tomorrow morning ya'll can have your individual gifts but I thought this was should be something we did in private." I said pulling out a small folder and handed it to Cam.

"YOU GOT US A HOUSE!" Cam yelled shocked, Devin snatched the envelope from him and started reading it.

"Yeah I figured once summer comes ya'll might not wanna come home and see your brother so I got ya'll a four bedroom right outside of Austin. Look ya'll are young men now so I knew ya'll would probably want ya'lls own place and it's already paid off so ya'll don't have to worry about that, but it still needs to be finished but once it's done Enzo is going to take ya'll to pick out whatever ya'll need..... just try to come home as much as possible." I said smiling.

"I think this is his polite way of kicking us out." Cam said laughing. "Nah seriously Khalil thanks." Cam said hugging me then got up and ran out the room smiling. I looked at Devin and could tell he was upset.

"You alright?" I asked.

"I.... never thought I'd be moving out, it seems like we just found each other and now it's like we're growing apart. Once school is over you'll be busy with practice and Marcus and then school starts again, I'll be busy and you'll be on the road most of the time..... don't get me wrong Khalil I really appreciate the gift but I don't wanna feel like I'm losing you again." Devin said quietly.

"Devin I'm not going anywhere, just because you may not live here doesn't mean this isn't your home. You know my door is always open to you and Cam.... even Legacy, ya'll are my family. So don't think of it as you moving out just think of it as somewhere you can go whenever you feel like getting away except now you don't have to drive two plus hours." I said smiling.

"Thanks for everything Khalil...... you're seriously the best brother anyone could ask for. I love you." Devin said.

"I love you too midget." I said ruffling his hair, I stood up and walked out the room and saw Marcus walking out of my room dressed like he was about to go somewhere. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. "Where do you think you're going?" I asked kissing his neck.

"I have last minute things I have to grabbed from my house I shouldn't be gone too long." Marcus said turning to kiss me "I'll be back as soon as I can." Marcus said walking away quickly, I watched him closely as he retreated down the hall and couldn't shake the feeling that he was up to something.......
