What happened?

  "Do you want me to get Alp-daddy?" I nodded my head once again and he took off down the hall. Then Jace came and ran down the hallway and picked me up.

"Lucas,just watch the kid. Got it?" Jace said into the phone. I was currently laying down in the soft sheets of Jace's room.Our room. And Zach was lying behind me trying to comfort me. I tuned both boys out and was left with my mind. My Hell. The next thing I know is Lucas carrying Zach out of the room and Jace shut the door with a soft thud. Then he walked over to me and kneeled in front of my face. 

"Ava,are you okay?" He quietly asked. I just sighed and turned my whole body,so I was facing the other way. Then he sighed.

"Ava."

No response.

"Ava."

No response.

Do I blame Jace? Of course not. I mean it's not his fault I'm broken and useless.

 Jace walked over to the side I was facing and climbed into bed. He placed the covers over himself and placed his arm around my shoulder,while the other arm went under my waist. Basically gave me a hug while laying down.  His body warmth surrounded me and I scooted closer. I've never had someone to comfort me before. Then again,he's probably thinking I'm a weirdo,or that I only want attention. 

"Ava,you have to tell me what happened.We are mates." Should I? I mean this joke should be finishing up;so let's just add fuel to fire.I nodded my head and he moved a little so I could see his face.

"I-I was using the bathroom and-and Macey c-came and," I let out a sob and Jace let out a growl."She told m-me to stay away from you." I finished. Tears still made their journey down my face. I looked up to see Jace. His eye's were almost full-blown black.  His chest started to have a small vibration and it grew till that deep,scary,alpha growl came out.

"I'm.Going.To.Kill.That.Bitch." Was all he said(Growled out) before he got up from the bed and walked to the door and took off towards,well I don't know where Macey is.  

'Okay,Ava,you can do this.' Charolette prep-talked me.

'Char,you're back!How are you?' I said excitedly.I waited for a couple seconds. Of course,Char did not respond. I sighed. I got up to take a shower & to do my morning routine.

I finished my make-up to cover the huge bruise on my cheek. I changed into my black skinny,but not to skinny jeans, one of Jace's black tee's and hoodies,and the pink shoes that Jace gave me yesterday. Once I done tying the laces,a soft knock came from the door. I stood up and walked over to the door.  I opened the door to find a sleepy Lucas and a playful Zach. I smiled to both of them. 

"Here's your kid." Lucas said almost half-asleep. I giggled,while Zach ran to me and tightly hugged my legs. I rubbed my hand in his hair and his hair went everywhere. Lucas walked off and I went and sat on my knees and gave Zach a hug. 

"Are you hungry?" He shook his head 'yes'. I noticed he was still in Jace's "small" tee. 

"First,let's get you changed." I walked over to the dresser and got out the jeans from yesterday and grabbed another of Jace's tees. Geez,Jace has a lot of tee's and hoodies. He has more clothes than a girl has shoes. I handed Zach the jeans and I helped him get changed.

We walked hand and hand to the kitchen. Once in the kitchen,I got out the milk,two spoons,and two bowls. Zach got out 'Trix's' and poured some into his bowl. Then mine. I poured the milk into both of our bowls. Zach talked about how boring Lucas is and I kept laughing while we enjoyed breakfast. We finished breakfast and Zach found a spider; he kept trying to catch it and was playing around with it. I hate spiders. I was washing our bowls when Jace walked in. Scary thing is,he seemed cool and calm. He came up behind me and hugged my waist. 

"Hello,beautiful."

"Hi?" 

"Look! I caught it!" Zach happily yelled. I giggled and Jace walked over to Zach to see what he had caught. I walked over to Zach as well,the bowls long forgotten. I saw Zach had a big black spider in his hands. I mentally screamed.

"Look mama! Look!" He came closer to me. The spider came closer to me. I walked back as he walked forward. My back hit the wall,Zach still coming closer. He put his hand in front of my face and I held in a scream. 

"How about we put the spider into a cup?" Jace said and took the spider from Zach's hand and set it into a plastic cup with holes into it. I mentally thanked him. Zach ran over to the spider and watched it in fasciation.  Jace came over and walked to me. 

"Thanks."

"Your welcome,princess." He smirked.

It was in the afternoon and Jace,Zach,and I were enjoying the outdoors. Zach let the spider crawl around and Jace and I were swinging peacefully on the porch swing. Lucas came outside with a bunch of bags. and boxes. I looked at Jace who had a smile on his face. 

"Hey,Zach,come here for minute." Zach got up and ran to Jace.

"What's this?" Zach questioned. 

"Just open the bags." Jace replied and helped Zach out. 

The bags contained clothes,toys,and things like a toothbrush,a comb,ect. Zach seemed very happy and Jace was happy as well. Everyone was happy.

It was only 6:30 in the evening and Zach was asleep with his new stuffed wolf. We were on the couch watching 'Inside Out'. Zach's head was in my lap and my head laid on Jace's shoulder.

"C'mon I want to show you something." Jace said while turning off the t.v. and getting up. I carefully moved Zach's head off of my lap and followed Jace outside.It was cloudy and looked like it could storm. We started walking on a path with flowers along the pathline. I blushed when Jace grabbed my hand. We kept walking till I heard water moving. 

As we came into view,I saw a creek with crystal clear water and little fish in the water. Jace guided me towards the rocky bank and he sat down. I copied his actions. Once I sat down,Jace placed me into his lap. I blushed. All of a sudden it thundered and I jumped and moved closer to Jace. He chuckled. 

"Let's dance," Jace said.

"But there's no music." I said in a 'duh' tone.

"Yes," He got out his phone and played 'Lay Me Down By Sam Smith' "there is." He smirked. We got up and I placed my hands around his neck. He placed his hand on one side of my waist and the other on my other side. He danced slowly to the song. Right when Sam Smith was finishing up the song our foreheads touched. He smiled and so did I. Jace moved his head in a little,his breathing steady. Shocks went wild throughout my body. I moved closer as well. Then he went in for it. His lips carefully placed onto my lips. The world seemed to stop and everything froze. Our lips moved with each other. His tongue licked my bottom lip,begging for entrance. I gladly allowed.
