So my mom asked me to move the sprinkler in the backyard. I took the dog out with me.
Turns out, there were some birds out in the yard, and one panicked. My dog chased it under the trampoline and bit its wing, and so I dragged her by the scruff back into the house.
I grabbed the bird and ran inside, where we decided to put it in the rat's old cage with some towels.
Mom is going to call our friends at this pet store in town because they had something like this happen when we went to go get the rats. He's like a grackle bird. I have pictures.

EDIT: I took off the lid and he flew at the window so I let him loose, and he was doing fine. False alarm xD He'll be all right.
