Yesterday I was at a swim meet. It was a really small meet, and they only had a raised level instead of a crow's nest, and the board was broken but the rich pads were still working, so you had to go off the times that your coach and the timers said until they posted the official times at around 5:00 - 5:30. I swam backstroke in our 200 Medley Relay and for once my turn was awesome. My time was around 41 seconds or so. Backstroke is not my stroke xD

I swam a 50 Free as well. My coach's time was 33.85 or something, so I was pretty excited that I was going to state. When I went over to my parents to get dried off, Dad had said he was timing me on the stopwatch on his phone and I had a 34.10.

Remember that state qualifying time for a 50 Free in my age group in my state is a 34.09.

I was kind of mad, but I did a 200 Free and cut like fifteen seconds :D I did a 50 back as well since I didn't know I would be swimming the relay (the time was the same), and swam my first 500 Free at like eight minutes and thirty seconds. To say the least, it was better than my dad's first 500 Free which was like ten minutes xD

I had had a pretty good meet. Remember the board was broken and I wouldn't know what the official times were until like 5:30.

We had decided we were going to drive to the big city where my aunt lived because she had just had her baby. We stopped at a town because there was a sports store there that had prescription goggles. I also ended up buying a plain black Nike suit for meets only x3

Of course, there were traffic jams when we eventually got there but I read Twilight (I WILL THROW ALL HATERS IN TARTARUS) so it didn't matter.

My baby cousin Felix was adorable, but of course as soon as I got to hold him he burst into tears. It happens every time. My other cousin Pamela who is my age invited me to her room and we hung out awhile. After about an hour Dad said we were leaving. Since it was almost 5, we decided to eat at Joe's Crab Shack because why not.

As we were waiting for our food to come out, Mom got on the website thingy and started looking for my age group times. At this time I was getting extremely nervous and jittery about what my time was.

Finally my mom showed me my time and I started crying because I was going to state.

34.04 :DDD

After we ate we drove the five hours home. After suffering through one hour of traffic jams and idiots, we finally got on the interstate. I had finished Twilight and was starting to get restless and bored. And hungry. Very hungry.

When we stopped at a gas station once so my dad could use the bathroom like two hours after we got out of the city, Dad bought me a bag of Doritos that I ate within like ten minutes. Then, an hour later, we stopped to get gas and Mom let me get a bag of popcorn which I actually haven't finished but oh well.

We finally arrived at our house. We brought everything in and then I went downstairs to watch Twilight. I had been up since like 6 AM and my eyes were starting to hurt like I had stayed up way too late reading. I gave up and went downstairs and slept until about now.

So here you go: documentary of yesterday. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some more food to eat because I am a bottomless pit.
