Chapter 9: You'll Just Have To Read To Find Out :)

I saw Tao's sillhouette and I tried to look as happy as possible. I waved to him and he just raised his hand for a second then it fell back down. I tried to play dumb.

" Is everything alright?" I asked.

" No. It's not. I just heard something really bad and I came here to tell you about it," he replied.

OH GOD.

" What happened?" I was just hoping for the slightest chance that it wasn't about Yixing and I.

" Mom just called..."

Is this really true!? ME AND YIXING WEREN'T CAUGHT!? BLESS YOU KRIS!

But now I was worried about other things. Tao has never been liked by our mom as much as me. I was mom's favorite while Tao was her least favorite. When she personally calls Tao, it usually means something bad.

" And..." I said. I was starting to really worry about Tao.

" Since SM Entertainment has been giving me a lot of injuries, mom says that we have to test them out by putting my career on the line. She says that they have to let you and EXO or at least EXO-M perform a song together at comeback concert. I have to fight them about it or mom will be PISSED AS HELL. Fighting with SM could also fire me..." Tao said. It's a DREAM of mine to sing with them! But, Tao has a really big chance of getting fired from it.

" So what do you suggest...? You know that I'd love to sing with EXO and..." Tao stopped me.

" I know...I know...which is one of the reasons why I'm here talking with you. I really want to make your dream come true...and I want to please mom...but my career is on the line," he said. I started to think really deeply about this. If we don't ask SM, mom will be PISSED. If we do ask SM, they might accept, which is a really low chance, and all of us get what we want, but put Tao's career in chance. If they don't accept, which has the highest probability, mom will be mad at Tao for not trying hard enough, I won't get to sing, and SM will be mad at Tao for having a stupid idea.

" I really don't want to get you fired to accomplish my dream...so how about we ask the guys to accompany us? I think they'll help. Plus then, it'll be all of EXO against SM, and they'll let me perform, which will make my dream come true, please mom, and you won't even get in trouble because EXO will have your back!" I said brightly. I saw a smile building up on Tao's face, but then it died.

" But what if the guys don't want you to perform? What if they don't want Tao's little unknown sister to spend so much time with them recording?"

" That's when you come in. They're your best friends. I'm pretty sure that they'll help you out..." I said.

" How do YOU know? Hmm...?" he asked me.

Uh oh...

" I don't. I just have a feeling. You know me...when I have a feeling, it's usually right! Remember, you used to call me psychic when we were little!" we both laughed remembering.

Tao gave me a hug.

" I really missed you. We had a lot of fun times before I joined EXO and you went to college..." he said. I nodded. He looked at me. " But I'll pursuade them to have you do a song with us. Plus, it'll be fun catching up with you. Imagine you, with us, performing in front of thousands of people, performing a song that you wrote with us, with your favorite idols and your favorite brother...!"

I laughed and playfully pushed him. He laughed too. He looked at his watch. (Gucci, of course) It was already getting late.

" Thanks a lot Karrera. I had fun seeing you. You should also drop by the door sometime. I'll let you in..." my smile grew wider. It's finally a way to visit the dorm without hiding from Tao!

Tao gave me a great big bear hug. I hugged him back. He also gave me a kiss on my head. Man, I never realized how much I missed my brother. He walked to his car.

" I'll ask them tonight and I'll text you the details. Bye!" he waved to me. I waved back to him and walked home. I was really worn out. I didn't text anyone. Not Yixing, not Hannah, not Erika, not Tao. I just went right to sleep.

Next morning...

I woke up at 7. I checked on my phone, and I got many texts. The ones that I checked first were from Tao.

" OK. GREAT news! I asked them, and they immediately said that they would help! We called SM, and they at first didn't want to do it, but when they heard that all of EXO wanted to do the song, they accepted. It was weird...it was all of EXO except for Kris...hmm...but anyway...they'd love to do a song with you...maybe just because you're my little sister..."

There was another...

" Oh, and also, tonight, I'll pick you up at 6. I'm bringing you to the dorm...and there'll be EXO-K too! It's a celebration for us conquering SM! Though, SM wants the song due in 3 weeks...all recorded with the music. But, good thing you're on Spring Break for a month! It works out perfectly since you'll have all day to work with us! See you soon, little sis!"

Tao can be really sweet sometimes. He's a really good big brother: which is one of the reasons why he's so protective over me. He doesn't want any guys to break my heart. He also doesn't want to lose me.

Next I checked Yixing's texts...

" YES THANK GOD WE WEREN'T CAUGHT! SO HAPPY!"

" Did you hear the great news? We get to perform a song together! 3 weeks all together! I get to see you every day for 3 weeks...perform with you...record with you..."

" Can't wait to see you tomorrow night at the party! It'll be a lot of fun...trust me. EXO knows how to party :)"

I couldn't wait!
