Chapter 15: Yixing and Baekhyun's Point of View

Yixing texted me goodnight then turned off his phone.

" Who was that you were texting?" asked Baekhyun. He had just came out of the bathroom and finished washing up.

" No one..." said Yixing. " What's more important is figuring out how we're going to sleep."

" It's simple. I'll sleep on the left side/left area of the couch, and you'll sleep on the right," said Baekhyun. The right side had it's back to Chanyeol's room.

Yixing and Baekhyun threw their pillows onto their sides and threw their blanket over. They crawled inside and turned off the lights.

" During our training period...you were my best friend...but now we've split apart and you've gone off with Luhan and I've gone off with Chanyeol. We really need to catch up..." said Baekhyun. Yixing looked at him.

" Yeah. We really do," he replied.

Baekhyun huffed and took a deep breath.

" Tell me your honest answer...do you have feelings for Tao's little sister?" asked Baekhyun. Through the dim light Yixing saw him facing him. Yixing didn't reply. " Seriously...I could see the way you've been reacting with her. During the movie, especially. Since Chanyeol has a HUGE crush on her, he was trying to get close with her and I could see the anger and jealousy in your eyes. It's obvious. You like her."

Yixing huffed.

" Yeah. I do," he replied.

" YES! I knew it! I was right!" said Baekhyun. Yixing could see his pearl white teeth and could see him doing some sort of happy dance. " Wait..."

Baekhyun paused. Yixing nodded. Baekhyun realized that it was two of his best friends fighting over the same girl, who happens to be one of their over-protective friends' little sister.

" God. You must feel really..."

" Yeah. I do. It's really hard..."

" I'm really sorry for getting you into this topic. If you want we can..." said Baekhyun. Yixing stopped him.

" Can I tell you something? Something really secret?"

Baekhyun turned towards Yixing. They had already adjusted to the light and could see each other. Baekhyun looked really serious.

" Of course..."

" But you have to swear to keep this a secret..." said Yixing. He made a VERY serious face.

" I swear..." said Baekhyun. Yixing yawned then huffed.

Baekhyun looked REALLY serious.

" Karrera...she's...she's my girlfriend..." said Yixing. Baekhyun looked really surprised.

" REALLY!!!!! WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!!?????" exclaimed Baekhyun.

" Shhh! We're really scared about Tao because he's so protective over Karrera...which is a good thing...but he ends up breaking Karrera up with her boyfriends or chasing them off...and we didn't want that to happen..." said Yixing. Baekhyun's face looked like he understood.

" Ohhh...I understand...I can TOTALLY relate. Wait, but since when? How'd you start dating?" asked Baekhyun. He didn't take his curious eyes off Yixing and hugged his pillow. Yixing explained it all.

" Wow. I wish that MY story was as romantic as your guys'. Wow. But that's really cute...but you know Chanyeol..."

" I do. Which is why I'm worried. You know Chanyeol, and you know that you can't trust him with secrets..." said Yixing. Baekhyun understandably nodded. " So if we told him, he would be pissed and go spread the news. Which is why we haven't told him. But he thinks that Karrera is single and wants to now date her. He hasn't told her yet, but Karrera already knows."

" Hmm...well...Chanyeol IS a really close friend of mine...but you've got me through some of my toughest times...so I wanna help you," said Baekhyun. They both exchanged smiles.

" Thank you Baek..." said Yixing. He bowed to him and Baekhyun laughed.

" OK. Here's what I think we should do...wait...does EXO-M know? At least everyone but Tao?" asked Baekhyun. Yixing nodded. " Great. We can use them. Chanyeol won't mess with a girl who's taken...but he'll mess with the guys to let go of her. We have to tell Chanyeol that she's taken. Then he'll lay off her..."

" Great idea...but what if he asks who's her boyfriend?"

" Oh...umm...I never thought about that. We have to find someone," said Baekhyun. He's never been very smart. Yixing and Baekhyun thought.

" No! That won't work! Because then Chanyeol will go tell everyone that Karrera will have a boyfriend and Tao will find out and be pissed with Karrera, then break her up with the guy who will end up being me, and she'll be single again, and Chanyeol will go after her again and I won't be there..." said Yixing.

" Dang it! Why is Tao such a good older brother!?" said Baekhyun. They thought some more. " What about we scare Chanyeol?"

Yixing looked confused.

" What do you mean?"

" I'll go tell Chanyeol about Tao and how over protective he is. I'll also exagerate it just a little. I'll tell him that once she dated one of Tao's best friends, and after he broke them up, Tao never spoke with him again...that'll REALLY back off Chanyeol..." said Baekhyun. Yixing smiled.

" Great plan, but I feel bad for Chanyeol..." said Yixing.

" So do you want me to tell him or not?" asked Baekhyun. Yixing thought for a while. He felt really bad. His kindness and big heart was getting the best of him. " You know what. Karrera's yours. You can't let someone get in the way of that. I'll tell him."

Yixing thanked Baekhyun and went to sleep.
