Chapter 52: My Lambicornxing

We went and geared up as we entered into the building. We were each given a vest and a "gun." Before entering in, our small teams huddled up.

" I've played laser tag before with the guys...a lot. I have a few theories and strategies. I know that Karrera will do well, but Kris, you aren't so good. So here's what I'm thinking. Their team is actually pretty strong...and since we made a bet we can't lose. Kris...I know you want to and you wouldn't hesitate a bit...so your target is Yixing," he said. Luhan snorted and I chuckled. Kris cracked his knuckles.

" Oh yeah I will. See, baby. You just watch..." he said. Luhan glared at me and we both exchanged laughs.

" Fine. Whatever you say. Anyway, Xiumin and Chen are both pretty strong. Chen is really good at running and tackling and sneaking, but he won't protect himself. He goes after people before they can get to him. And Xiumin is more of a tactical guy. He think before attacking, which makes him a bit of a harder target, but he isn't as aggressive as Chen. I'll let you pick your target, Karrer," said Luhan. I thought.

" I'll go for Chen..." I said. Luhan nodded.

" OK. Kris' after Yixing. Karrer's after Chen. I'm after Xiu. OK that's good," said Luhan. We went out of the circle and so did the other team. They glared at us.

" We have a team name. It's...Kris' team isn't our style..." laughed Chen. He stuck his hands out and Xiumin and Yixing high-fived him and laughed with him. I maybe laughed a little too.

" Well, then. Our team name is...Kris' so tall that Xiumin's mom told him not to stand next to him..." laughed Kris. He held his hands out like Chen, but neither Luhan nor I high-fived it, making all 5 of us burst into laughter except Kris. We went into the arena, and it was COOL. There were blocks and barriers and everything was glow in the dark. You couldn't see anything, and our chest plates glew in the dark. At least the room was HUGE...giving us PLENTLY of running and hiding space. The workers gave us a few seconds to run and hide until he lit back our chest plates. We all split up and I didn't know where Chen...or anyone was. He counted down from 20 seconds, and I had my hiding spot. It was at the corner and I had a barrier. Jackpot!

The worker lit back up our chest plates and mine glowed. I pressed myself against the block so that it wouldn't be noticeable. My strategy?

Well, Luhan said that Chen just runs around. So, I was just gonna wait for him and I was going to shoot him. Yeah, that works.

I waited for a few seconds and I heard laughs and screams. Looks like they've all found their target. I kept quiet, even though I wanted to laugh, too. Just then, I saw a red chest plate running towards me. But, my color was unnoticeable. (BTW...our team had blue. Their team had red.) The color came closer and closer until I noticed it was Chen. I laughed but he didn't see me, and I shot him down and his color began beeping.

" Huh? What?" he exclaimed as he looked at his chest plate. I laughed and I popped out. He laughed and he high-fived me. " Was I your target?"

I nodded and he laughed.

" Good work. You were mine. Well, I guess I now have to go sit out..." he said.

" Sorry!" I whispered. He smiled.

" No worries. Good job," he said. I nodded and he went and sat out, by the door. Now, I was just gonna start roaming around to see what would happen next. If I saw Kris or Luhan, I'd join and help them. If I saw my lamb or Xiumin, I'd take them down. Why not?

I started walking around until I saw another red color. He was hiding behind a block and hadn't seemed to notice me. I immediately hid behind a block but still looked to see who it was. It was Xiumin. He went and shot and he laughed. I guess he got someone.
