Chapter 56: Sh*t (yup, that's the title!)

I woke up in the morning, only to be woken by a million texts I got from the guys. Our group chat.

" Is everyone up?" asked Suho.

" Ya," they all replied.

" Karrer? U up?" asked Chanyeol.

" Karrer?" they all wrote.

" Guys she's probably sleeping..." wrote Sehun.

" KARRER!" wrote Kris. That's when I woke up.

" What?" I wrote.

" U up?" they asked.

" Now I am," I replied.

" See! I woke her up!" wrote Kris.

" You shouldn't be proud," I wrote back.

" OH BURN!" they wrote. I laughed.

" Why are you all up so early?" I asked.

" Aww...guys. I just got a text from the manager...he said that my interview's cancelled..." said Yixing. Too bad. I knew that he was excited.

" We should go out...all 13 of us. Pretty soon we'll all be in relationships and get married, I mean, Suho. So we need to spend as much time as possible," wrote D.O.

" Hmm...OK. Fine. What's in mind?" I wrote.

" I have an idea. You all come meet me at my house within the next half an hour," wrote Chen.

" OK," we all wrote. I went and got dressed in casual clothes and I went and washed up. I wasn't hungry so I didn't eat breakfast and I just drove to Chen's. He lived on his own, but in a busy neighborhood. Only to be flashed by cameras and fans. I tried my best to cover and ignore them but they walked up to me.

" Miss Karrera!" they all exclaimed. I was almost at the gate...just a few steps away...but I stopped. I had to.

" Yes," I replied, turning towards them.

" Oh it's her! It's actually her! What are you doing here?" asked one of them. The camera lights were blinding. I didn't want to tell that I was at Chen's. That might cause too much traffic and invasion. I lied.

" Work. Business," I replied.

" Miss Karrera are you in a relationship with anyone?" asked another one. Again, I lied. I felt so guilty.

" Nope, not yet. I'm focused on my career more than my love life," I replied.

" You would make a great couple, with anyone in EXO! Except for your brother, of course," said another. I nodded. I DO make a great couple with someone in EXO.

I tried to make way towards the gate again until I saw Kris in the crowd. He was walking towards Chen's, too. The reporters and fans crowded both of us, next to each other.

" This is, work?" they all asked. Kris was confused.

" Yes. Kris and I have to work on something together," I said. Kris smiled because of what I said. That guy is in love.

" Perhaps there's a secret relationship?" asked one of the reporters. I shook my head.

" NO NO NO NO!" I said. DEFINETLY not Kris.

" Dude, we gotta post this! They're totally dating!" said another. They nodded and began posting as they walked away. Shit.

Shit was the only word to say.

I screamed in rage and I walked away from Kris and into Chen's gate. Kris ran after me.

" Karrer! Wait! Hang on!" he said. I was almost at the door but I stopped and turned around.

" What?" I said. I was so pissed. Kris didn't even do anything to stop them from posting. He just stood around. Now what am I gonna do? Yixing and I wanted to go public, but now that everyone thinks I'm dating Kris...everyone's gonna think I'm a cheater or a player or something!

" Are you mad?" he asked.

" WHAT DO YOU THINK!?" I exclaimed.

" C'mon! It's fine! Everyone's gonna forget about it soon. It's happened!" he said.

" AND YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FACT THAT YIXING AND I WANTED TO GO PUBLIC TODAY? THIS EXACT DAY!?" I exclaimed

" You know...I have no problem with being your boyfriend. So I'm not gonna change this, or help you. I like it. Now only you can convince them that you're not dating me," he smirked. I wanted to punch him right there. That second. In his face. I hated him those moments.

" Kris I have never seen anyone more selfish than you. You don't care about the fact that I want to be known with Yixing, and not you. I can't believe you," I said. I knocked on Chen's door and he opened it before Kris could say anything else. Chen greeted me with a hug.

" I can't believe you did that Kris! You should've stopped them!" exclaimed Chen. I guess he saw everything. Luckily, we were the first ones there. So no one else saw.

" What? What the hell would you do?" said Kris. He was getting angry.

" WELL, I would at LEAST say that we're just friends or we're not dating! You just stayed freaking silent!? You know how mad Yixing's going to be, right? You just complicated everything for them! As if things weren't complicated enough!" exclaimed Chen.

" Kris please write on your instagram that we're not dating!" I exclaimed. Chen nodded.

" No! You're the selfish one! You never gave me a chance or anything to prove myself! You know how much I love you yet you ALWAYS reject me and you NEVER let me say anything! Do you know how hard that is? And do you know how hard it is knowing that the person you love is dating one of the people you're closest to? Like a freaking brother? Yeah. That's how hard. And I've known you for about 4 and a half months. For that long I've been hurt. You two...you all just don't get it," he said. Too bad! He has to learn to except the fact that I'm taken! I won't date him!

Just then, Xiumin and Baekhyun came in. We stopped and we returned in silence. None of us wanted to get the others involved.

Finally, we were all together. But we had to wait 30 minutes AFTER I came. Ya.

" Jongdae what's the plan?" asked Xiumin, wrapping his arm around Chen's neck as Chen gently pushed away.

" Mall," he replied.

" WHAT?" we all asked in unison. Chen laughed. " Yup, you heard me. Mall. But, we have a game we're playing."

We all looked confused.

" Secret Santa! Each one is going to pick a name from the box and buy a present for them. But you can't tell who you got. Then, once we all meet up, we're going to head back here. We're going to pass out the gifts and you try to guess who got you the gift. If you guess it right, you keep it. If you get it wrong, the person who bought it for you gets the gift back. It's more fun than it sounds...trust me," said Chen.

" Isn't this girly?" asked "manly" Luhan.

" Nah! Mall!" exclaimed Tao. I rolled my eyes.

" Fine. Whatever. We're in," said Kai. We nodded. Chen got a box from under the couch. He dumped the names on the table upside down so we wouldn't see who we got. We all scrammed and took a sticky. I flipped mine over making sure no one saw.

Shit.

Kris.

Shit.

My luck today is a piece of shit. (sorry for cussing so much!)
