Chapter 69: Short

" WHAT!!!!???? YOU'RE MARRYING HIM!!!!????? YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO MARRY ZHENG!!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!!!" exclaimed my mom over the phone. She was the last person I told because I didn't feel like hearing her negative reaction.

Honestly, Tao was probably the most excited one about me and Yixing. More excited than us. Chen and Luo, too. But Tao has always been my #1 fan. He's the cutest brother ever.

" Mom, I DO dare," I said. WHOA. I'VE BEEN WAITING TO TALK BACK TO HER MY WHOLE LIFE AND I JUST DID. Yixing just gave me this sort of pow. " You can't ruin my life and make me marry a perverted psycho. You and dad are FILTHY rich. You have HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. You're practically BILLIONAIRES. I think that's enough to last you 30 generations of rich families."

" Karrera, no. I won't allow you to marry that Zhang," said my mom. Nope. Too late.

" Mom-you've never been there for me. Where were you when I went through all my hard times through my life? You always left it up to me to solve it for myself because you never cared. You've never been a true mom to me. Never. I'm an adult now. And you can't just never be in my life but now all of a sudden pop in and tell me not to marry the perfect man. No. You've attempted to ruin my life many times now and this won't be one. You're invited to my wedding but you have to stay out of me and Yixing's life. I'm a Zhang now, not a Huang," I said.

" Karrera. I would NEVER think that MY OWN DAUGHTER. WHO'S BLOOD RELATED TO ME. WOULD DO SUCH A THING. You know what? We're not going to attend your wedding. And we want you OUT OF OUR LIVES. YOU'VE RUINED US, TOO. I'M GLAD YOU'RE NOW A ZHANG AND NOT A HUANG BECAUSE I WOULD BE SO ASHAMED TO EVEN HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME AS YOU. I HATE YOU," said my mom and she hung up.

How can she say something so rude and hurtful? She just DECLINED ME. SHE DOESN'T WANT ME ANYMORE. I have no parents.

Tears started to fall down and Yixing immediately wrapped me in his arms.

" Shh...shh...sh...angel. Don't cry. If your parents are going to leave you in the streets like this all of a sudden, they were never true parents to you. Don't worry my precious angel. You now have someone to love you your whole life. And you're a Zhang now, right? Which means that you'll have my parents now! You don't know how much my parents love you, Karrer. I promise you'll love being a Zhang more than you've ever imagined..." he said. I love his words. They always break me apart. I sniffled and I pulled my head slowly away from his shoulder and nodded. I quickly wiped my tears with my wrist.

" You're right. I love you so so much, my lambie," I said. He smiled sincerely.

" I love you TOO MUCH my angel," he smiled. I smiled back and he kissed me on the lips.

Suddenly, Tao popped into the room.

(We're back in Seoul and Tao has my house key)

" Whoa...sorry...did I come at the wrong time?" he said, trying to close his eyes. I chuckled and we immediately pulled away.

" No, Ta, you're fine," I said. He nodded.

" I was just going to say that I have an idea for where you two should get married. I also have an idea of what type of music you should have...and the party favors...and..." he said as he was running up to me with a giant binder entitled, " Karrer & Xing."

I laughed but before he reached me I stopped him.

" Ta...it's fine. You don't have to be our party planner!" I laughed. Yixing chuckled too and Tao seemed upset and made a pouty face.

" What? Why not!? You guys KNOW how happy I am! Please! At least let me help out with SOMETHING!" he said. I've never seen someone, especially a guy, be so desperate to help out with his sister's wedding.

Yixing and I exchanged looks.

" Bruh...umm...you can help with the food. We need desperate help with that," said Yixing and I nodded. Tao grew a smile.

" OK! I PROMISE I WON'T LET YOU DOWN! I'M GONNA GET TO WORK AND START PLANNING AND-" he said as he ran out the door but bumped into the wall next to it. He shook his head and ran out the door. This guy, though.

I closed the door and laughed.

" He's too excited!" I laughed. Yixing laughed too.

" I've never seen anything like it!" he said. I chuckled.

" Well, have you seen anyone like Tao?" I chuckled. Ah Tao. I'm seriously BLESSED to have such an amazing older brother.

" Ah remember when Tao used to be the bad guy?" asked Yixing as he sat down at my couch. I sat down next to him.

" What do you mean?" I asked. I was confused.

" When we used to keep our relationship secret around him. When we would act around him so that he wouldn't find out and break us apart. And now look at him. He's planning our wedding!" said Yixing. I nodded and I rested my head on his chest.

" Hearing the word wedding makes me happy," I smiled. Yixing began petting my hair.

" Especially when I know that it's my wedding to my celebrity crush," he giggled. Yup. Giggled. Cutie.

I chuckled.

" Lambie you know that you knew me even before I was a celebrity! I'm not a celebrity in your eyes!" I said. He shook his head.

" No, you're not. You ARE my celebrity crush! Is there a problem with that?" he joked. I laughed.

" Of course not," I replied.

" And you know what's the best part about having you as a wife?" he asked. I shook my head. " I can play with you however I want."

He smirked.

" YIXING!!!!" I screamed and I playfully slapped his arm. He laughed.

" Kidding! Kidding!" he laughed. " You're cute when you're angry."

I rolled my eyes.

Lol SO SO sorry for the short update but the next part will be the final part of the first book so I wanted to make that a LONG LONG update! Yay aren't you happy that Karrera and Yixing are engaged? I am! I'm fangirling! Haha

Anyway, well, the book is almost over.

But don't lose hope because as I said I'm going to be updating 2 books! Lay My One And Only Book 2 and Are We Friends...Or More Than Just Friends! Please stay tuned because I'll try my best not to let you down!

I know that there wasn't much drama in this book but it was my first ff! I promise that my next books there will be more drama and action! Plus, this was meant to be a cute story. So I didn't want much drama and I wanted happiness so you can look forward to more action and drama later on!
