Chapter 26: Faint

Well, it was already getting just the tiniest bit dark. It was already around 5. We were all tired and Suho called another group meeting. He said to be there in a few minutes. Yixing and I were swimming around in the pool and we decided it was time to dry off. When I tried to leave, I felt too cold. I couldn't get out. When I tried to my lips turned blue. Yixing was worried so he ran off and got my towel too. He wrapped himself in the towel then he opened the towel for me. I quickly got out of the pool.

T..t..too c..c..c..cold.

I ran to Yixing and as soon as I reached him he wrapped his arms around me, wrapping the towel too. I was still freezing..so I went and sat on the bench and lifted my feet up into the towel.

" Are you really that cold!?" he asked me. He started quickly rubbing my shoulders to warm me up but it wasn't helping. I have a bit of a circulation issue.

When I was born, I was born with a small hole in my heart. It's not serious...but it makes me cold. A lot. And when I freeze like this..it's possible for me to just...pass out. Just faint. I was already getting a little weak. Yixing didn't know about it.

I just froze up. My lips were really blue.

" Karrera...really...here," he wrapped me his towel too. It wasn't helping.

" Y..Y..Yixing..." I said. I couldn't talk. He was starting to really worry.

" Here...let's go back to the hotel..." he said. He took my hand and he helped me walk towards the hotel. Step by step. He then held me by my shoulders and walked. I was too weak. I collapsed. I fainted.

(3rd Person Point of View:)

" Karrera!" screamed Yixing. No answer. She collapsed. Yixing carried her bridal style and ran to Tao.

" Tao! Tao!" exclaimed Yixing. Tao saw Yixing carrying Karrera.

" Yixing! Put Karrera down!" he demanded.

" No! You don't understand! She fainted!" exclaimed Yixing while gently putting Karrera down on a recliner. Tao immediately looked at her.

" Oh. No. Dang it!" said Tao. The rest surrounded.

" What happened!?" they all asked.

" She fainted..." said Yixing.

Tao took off the towels and checked her heart. It was really cold.

" This's happened. She just needs to go get rest. It'll take her half and hour or so to wake up," he said.

" What!? Why? Why'd this happen!? Yixing! What did you do to her!?" exclaimed Chanyeol.

" Karrera was born with a hole in her heart which effects her circulation. If she all of a sudden freezes...like she did when she was exiting the pool's warm water...her circulation cuts off and she freezes. Literally. Then she passes out because no oxygen or blood gets to her brain. This has happened a few times. Don't worry. She'll be fine. She just needs to stay as warm as possible and she'll wake up," said Tao. He lifted Karrera up and everyone wrapped her in towels. Tao carried Karrera like a baby and took her to her room.

(Karrera's Point Of View:)

I woke up and I saw 12 guys staring at me.

" Really? She woke up! That only took her...17 minutes!" exclaimed someone. My eyes hadn't fully opened. I think it was Xiumin.

" Karrera...are you OK?" asked Tao. I recognized his voice. I opened my eyes one by one.

" Hmm? What? Why are you all here? What happened...?" I asked.
