Lay, My One and Only

Chapter 24: Resort

At first I wasn't as excited about going to the resort. But as I thought about it more, I realized that it was actually very exciting. It took me about half an hour to pack up, leaving about an hour or so just to do whatever I wanted. It was 6:30 in the morning. I was packed and ready to go. I went and sat down in my living room...and ate some cereal and just made my self up-to-date on Instagram. It was 7 and I realized that I was really tired. Huh. That's not usually like me. I guess I'll just nap in the car.

Anyway, it was about 7:10 and I heard a knock on my door. I opened it...and the 12 of them crammed in the door. I was really surprised.

" Hi Karrera!" they all said in unicin. It was kind of creepy. I waved.

" Hi...!" I said. Sehun came barging into my house.

" Sehun...aren't we leaving..." I said while he sat on my couch.

" Nice house!" he said. He was getting comfortable until Baekhyun came inside too and pulled him out.

" Sehun! Have manners! We're also leaving now! We just came to pick up Karrera..." said Baekhyun as he pulled on Sehun's arm. Tao took my suitcase and we walked towards the van. Again, my driveway and my house are like a five minute walk because of my huge front lawn. While we walked we all talked.

" Who's sitting with who?" asked Suho.

" How should we decide?" asked D.O.

" Hmm..." we all thought.

" So I guess one person's gonna have to sit by themself..." said Xiumin. " Since there's 13 of us in a five row of 3 seaters..."

" I call sitting next to Karrera!" exclaimed Kai as he hooked his arm into mine. I didn't do anything about it.

" I call sitting next to Tao!" exclaimed Luhan.

" I call sitting next to Luhan!" exclaimed D.O.

" OK. You guys can sit in row two. Karrera and Kai can sit in row 5. Who else wants to sit with them?" asked Suho. Yixing raised his hand. " OK. Row 5 and Row 2 are settled."

Row 5 was the complete back of the van.

After we all decided...

" Ok everyone listen up! Kris will sit by himself in row 1. Row 2 is Tao, Luhan, and D.O. Row 3 is Chanyeol, Suho, and Xiumin. Row 4 is Sehun, Baekhyun, and Chen. Row 5 is Kai, Karrera, and Yixing. Good?" asked Suho. Everyone nodded. Except for Kris. Loser. No one likes him anymore.

We sat on the van and everyone was pretty quiet. They were all very tired...including me. Kai sat by the window and I sat in the middle with Yixing on my right. I rolled out my headphones and played some music as I closed my eyes. But NO.

" Karrera! Seriously! Are you going to sleep?" asked Kai. I nodded while I closed my eyes again. Kai seemed a little upset, but he just watched outside the window. I fell asleep to my favorite song. Yixing did too. When we reached the freeway it was bumpy so my head fell onto Yixing's shoulder. Kai saw that my head was on Yixing's shoulder so he pushed my head onto his shoulder. Could Kai like me too? Please, god no. But of course, I was sleeping. So I didn't realize. Then Yixing fell onto my shoulder and I was sandwhiched in between Yixing and Kai. Kai started to pet my head...which woke me up. I felt it but he pretended like he wasn't doing it and he pulled away.

" Huh? What? Who as that?" I asked.

" Oh, you're awake?" he asked.

" Yeah. Wait...but...who was that petting my head?"
