Chapter 42: Love, Love, Love.

He took me to a haunted house. NO! Please, god no! Anything but this!

" Yixing...uh..." I startled. He laughed and he helped me stand up. I was shivering. I have really, really, REALLY bad memories at haunted houses. Plus, just like Tao, I'm REALLY scared of them. Not the ghosts as much as Tao, but the zombies. Honestly, Tao is a bit more scared than me of haunted houses, but since he's a guy and he's a year older than me, it's more embarrassing for him. Yixing put on a jacket and we walked towards the haunted house.

" This...THIS. Is one of the scariest haunted houses there is. That's why there's no line..." he said. WHY WOULD HE BRING ME HERE!?

" Yixing...I...I don't want to go in..." I shivered. He laughed and gave me a hug.

" Don't worry. Everything will be fine," he said. " We'll do it together. Plus, I'm honestly just as scared as you. But you and I both have to face our fears together."

" Yixing please no!" I exclaimed. We were walking towards the admission booth but Yixing wouldn't stop. I was freaking out. What was wrong with him? I thought he was thoughtful! I thought that he'd stop after seeing me scared to death like this.

He kept dragging me and he bought us two tickets. There was no one in line.

" Two tickets please," asked Yixing. The old woman was kinda freaky and looked like a witch.

" Two tickets it is...but you can't go in at the same time. We have to wait until the first person has reached the half-point until the other person can go in. And, there's a door at the half-point, so you can't reach anyone in the haunted house," warned the lady. My eyes grew wide as Yixing and I walked over to the house. I started to cry out of fear.

Yixing gave me a big hug.

" Karrera, do you wanna hear something?" he asked. I didn't respond since I was wiping my tears. " I'm just as scared as you. You wanna know why? It's because I have a fear of ghosts, too. JUST as bad as Tao's. But I don't tell people. I don't make it public. So I keep all this fear inside..which makes it worse. You're the first person I've ever told...because people would judge me then. I wanna be able to face my fear with someone special in my life...you. Honestly...I wanna cry too. That's how scared I am. But listen to me...since I'm going in first. I'll be right at the end waiting for you. I'm doing my part...now make sure that you do yours. OK my angel?"

He hugged me even tighter and gave me a kiss on the forehead. That made me smile and blush. I sniffled and he even wiped away my tears.

" OK..." I replied. He smiled, and by then we reached the entrance. GOD DAMN THIS PLACE LOOKED SCARY EVEN FROM THE OUTSIDE. IT LOOKED LIKE A MURDER SCENE. Yixing stood at the entrance for a few seconds. He looked at me and I gave him a hug, and he hugged me back. He looked down at the floor and took a deep breath, and went in.

Please, Yixing. Please please please.

There was a man waiting for me and was waiting for the signal to let me in.

It had only been a few seconds but I had already heard many screams from Yixing. I was really freaking out. What was happening to my brave unicorn? If he's scared like this...I'm gonna die.

But I was now more worried about Yixing than myself. I could hear screams coming from him. I waited for about 2 minutes, and the man pushed me in. He quickly handed me a flashlight and he closed the door behind me.

The room was very dark, and I could barely see anything. I turned on the flashlight and I went, step by step. The room was extremely creepy. I was already having voice-spasms from my fright. I walked in this sort of cabinet-room. Step-by-step. One step at a time. I looked around to see if there was anything. No. Not yet. Nothing to pop up to scare me. Then, something grabbed my hand and I screamed. It was a person's hand that was now moving back into the box. I guess there's people hidden in there. I kept walking...
