Chapter 40: Tao vs. Bruce Lee

When we reached home, we saw that everyone was already up and doing their own thing. They rolled up their sleeping bags and put all their pillows, sleeping bags, and bags for their items all in a pile in a corner. It took the guys a few seconds to notice that we were back in the room, but once they noticed they ran up to Sehun and I.

" Where were you?" they asked.

" Didn't Xiumin tell you guys? We went to get bagels," I replied.

" No! He didn't! Xiumin!" exclaimed Chen. Xiumin was laughing and the guys were playfully teasing and laughing.

" How come you went with Sehun then?" asked D.O.

" Because he was up when I was about to leave...so he just came along," I said.

" Then how come you didn't take the grandpa?" asked Kai. I laughed.

" Because the grandpa was half-asleep," I replied. I put down the keys and the guys went and sat down at the table. I placed the bagels at the middle and they all grabbed one and ate it like pigs. I guess they were hungry...or maybe they don't get to eat breakfast...

" SM put us on a diet. They don't let us eat breakfast...which is why we're always starving until lunch. Sometimes we'll cheat and eat but sometimes we'll get caught and we get into trouble," said Suho. I felt really bad that they didn't even get to eat the most important meal of the day.

" Just know that if you're ever hungry...you can come over to my house for breakfast or something. Sometimes, I'll skip breakfast too, but that's only because I don't get very hungry often," I said. They smiled and thanked me. " Have you guys talked to Tao today?"

The guys shook their heads. I barely finished one slice of my bagel while the guys were licking the cream cheese off their fingers.

" I'm gonna go call him...see how everything went with that bitch sleeping over..." I said. They smiled and nodded and I went into my bedroom to talk to him. I closed the door for no noise. I called him.

" Karrer? Hi!" said Tao. He seemed happy.

" Hi Tao. How are you?" I asked.

" Great. You?"

" I'm good. How was everything last night?" I asked.

" It was good. Nothing big but it was nice to have time with my girlfriend," said Tao. I wanted to punch a wall.

" Are you sure that girl's not...dangerous or harmful?" I asked. Tao laughed.

" Are you crazy? No! You know what it was...that night...remember? Well, Biyu has a bit of anger issues. Don't tell her that I told you. And that night, especially, she was pissed. If you don't talk to her calmly to calm her down or talk her out of harming you, I guess she can go a little over board. I'm apoligizing for her...because it's not really her fault," said Tao.

" Whatever. As long as she doesn't harm anyone or cause trouble...I'm fine with her," I said.

" Thanks for being so cool about us,"

" Your welcome. I just wish that you were this cool about me and one of my boyfriends..."

" Again with the boyfriend thing!? You know that I'm just looking out for you!" exclaimed Tao. I laughed.

" Fine. I get it. Thank you," I said. Tao chuckled.

" Sorry, Karrera, gotta go. BTW not tonight but the night after...I don't know if the guys told you yet...but we're going to learn the dance moves to the song. OK?"

" Ok! Great. Have fun!" I said.

" Bye!" he said and hung up. OK. Good. Nothing happened and Tao's fine. That's all that I care about. I exited the room to see the guys watching something and laughing. They were curled up on the couch and hugging the pillows. Half were awing and half were chuckling. I walked up to see what they were watching...and...
