Chapter 14: Chanyeol

I pulled away at the scariest part of the movie. I just hugged and squeezed the pillow to calm all my fear and stress. Chanyeol kept watching me. Yixing came, and he gave Chanyeol his popcorn. He came and sat next to me.

" What'd I miss?" he said. He gave himself new popcorn, too. I explained what happened. This movie was REALLY frightening. It even had my worst fear in it, zombies. God, I don't know why but I'm just TERRIFIED of zombies. Tao's TERRIFIED of ghosts and I'm TERRIFIED of zombies. Every time that a zombie would pop up I would scream.

D.O. looked at me.

" Are you scared of zombie's like Tao's scared of ghosts?" he asked. He looked back at me. This WHOLE time I hadn't heard ANYTHING come out of his mouth. I didn't even look at him. I just kept my eyes on the screen, but I nodded. He laughed and looked away. Chanyeol put his arm around me. I was laying on Yixing. God, he's just constantly wanting to be with me. I didn't do anything and just stayed on Yixing. I screamed and screamed along with Baekhyun and Suho. And there was one scene that just REALLY left a mark on me. They were chopping off the zombie's heads, and Yixing pulled me to his chest. I didn't look. I knew it would be something scary.

Chanyeol was getting jealous so he came and sat in between me and Yixing. He put his arm around me and hugged me tight. Since I was really scared and Yixing wasn't there, I didn't decline it. I was going to take every bit of help for that movie. He rested his head on mine like I was his girlfriend. For THAT, I pulled away, but he held me tight.

" It's almost over. Don't worry about it. It's just people with masks and make-up. Don't be scared. I've got you..." he said. I really didn't feel good about this. I stood up and asked Suho where the bathroom was. He pointed at a room, and I went in and locked the door. This was too much. I washed my face with cold water then went back into the living room. This time, I decided to go sit with Baekhyun and Suho, who kept patting the seat next to them for me to sit there. It was a lot of fun sitting with them.

When the movie ended, Sehun took out the CD and put it back in it's case. It was already 9. Chanyeol and Baekhyun exchanged faces then went to their room. That was random. I heard loud noises coming from the TV there. I was guessing they had a big TV and were going to watch something. They finished setting up, then they came back into the living room. The TV was still running. They came and sat on both sides of me and tugged on my shirt. YIXING'S SHIRT.

" Do you play video games?" whispered Baekhyun into my left ear.

" Sometimes," I replied.

" Are you a fan of H.A.L.O.?" whispered Chanyeol into my right ear.

" I guess..." I replied. They both smiled and pulled me into their room. Yixing has a very slow reaction, and he looked confused. Then he followed into the room, but Baekhyun wouldn't let him in. I felt really bad. It was like leaving a puppy outside in the cold rain.

" We can let him in," I said.

" There's only 3 consules...or game controllers..." said Chanyeol. We had already reached the home page. God. No. It was the zombie version. Baekhyun saw that I was upset so he went and let Yixing in.

" Sorry, Yixing...you can watch..." said Baekhyun. Yixing nodded and sat on a bed. Baekhyun looked at me and I was relieved, but I was scared about the game. " Oh! Karrera! Right! You're scared of zombies! How about we put on a different..."

" NO! This is fine. It's not scary. Plus it's relieving because you get to kill them," said Chanyeol. He playfully pushed me but I knocked over. He laughed and we all pressed start. There was a really long intro. The intro also taught how to play, but I already knew. I used to play it with my brothers a lot.

Then the game started, and I started to chase after a zombie. I pressed and I killed her. I shot her 4 times just because I wanted to. Then I went and started killing many more. Baekhyun and Chanyeol were REALLY impressed.

" H...h...HOW DID YOU KILL SO MANY SO QUICKLY?" exclaimed Chanyeol.

" I used to play this A LOT with my brothers," I replied. I went and headshot another. " But I mean, I guess it's not as scary as I remember it..."

Yixing kept so quiet, I sometimes forgot about him. I looked at him and he smiled.

" Yixing, have you ever played? How about you give it a try?" I said, handing him the controller.

" No! Don't! We're going to beat our high score! He can play next round...just...let's just finish," said Baekhyun. He FINALLY killed another.

I waited until next round, and the next, but they wouldn't let me give it to him. I felt SO BAD for dragging him into staying over tonight, then he's just sitting out the whole time and is jealous.

" Guys, I'm a kinda tired, so I'm gonna go head to sleep..." I said, exiting the room.

" Where are you heading?" asked Baekhyun.

" The living room. Tao always sleeps there, and..." Chanyeol stopped me.

" Tao and you are different. You're MUCH cooler. So don't think that if Tao did something, you have to do the same. Plus, you're going to sleep in here. Baekhyun or I will give you our bed and one of us and Yixing will go sleep in the living room," said Chanyeol.

" Are you really going to go sleep there no matter what?" I asked. They both nodded. " So Yixing can sleep here and someone will go with me to the living room."

" No! Yixing has slept here MANY times. You haven't. You're a guest. This is practically Yixing's second home. Baekhyun and Yixing will go sleep in the living room and you and I will sleep here..." said Chanyeol. I REALLY didn't want to sleep near that creep.

" Can Baekhyun sleep..." he stopped me AGAIN.

" No. I want to sleep here..." said Chanyeol. I was FURIOUS. As Baekhyun was pulling Yixing out, he winked at me and pointed to his phone. We would just text like we normally do. Chanyeol looked at me. " Go wash up and change..."

I went to the bathroom and washed up and changed into my pajamas. It was a plain gray tank top with pink pajama pants. I was texting while I came into the room. I was kind of scared of Chanyeol...especially after seeing what Kris did. Yixing was watching through the living room and could see me. He pointed to the door.

" OK. Karrera. I'm tired too, so I'm gonna sleep..." said Chanyeol. He turned off the lights and closed the door and walked towards his bed.

" Umm...Can we leave the door open? I can never sleep with the door closed in pitch back darkness..." I said. Yixing saw and he signed me with a thumbs up. Chanyeol stared at me.

" I can't sleep with any light...so I guess you're out of luck. If you're scared...you can come next to me..." I inturrupted him.

" No. No. It's OK. I don't want to sleep next to anyone," I said. Chanyeol closed the door and it was dark in the room. I kept my phone on and started texting Yixing.

" He can't do that! He even said that you're the guest! You have to be strict with him...or else I'll come and do it..." texted Yixing.

" I know. I'm scared sleeping in the same room with this obsesso," I replied.

" I can't sleep here. The couch is REALLY uncomfortable. If ANYTHING happens, just yell and I'll be there. I REALLY wish that I could be in that room with you, right now..." texted Yixing.

" Yeah. Thanks so much. And thanks for not overreacting about Chanyeol. I really love how you're keeping your cool...a lot. I'm kinda tired because of the medication, so I think I'll sleep. Love you," I texted.

" Good night. I love you too..." He replied. I turned off my phone and went to sleep.
