Chapter 16: Luo

I woke up the next morning and there wasn't even light. I checked my phone, and it was 5:30. I checked myself and the doors, and all seemed to be fine. Chanyeol was snoring like a pig. I quietly crept away into the living room to check on Yixing and Baekhyun. They seemed to have slept really uncomfortably. I felt bad so I didn't wake them up. I was thirsty, so I went to the kitchen and poured some water. I drank it, put the cup in the sink, and crept back into the hallway.

But who would've known that there would be a creeky plank right in front of Chanyeol's room. I snarled and I saw that Yixing moved. He looked around then saw me and waved his hand. I crept to him and he hugged me.

" How'd you sleep? Everything normal?" he asked me, hugging me with one arm. He was half-sleeping, and he was really quiet.

" I slept fine. The real question is how'd YOU sleep?" I asked. He opened his eye that was still closed and focused on me. He shrugged. He yawned and sat up. He told me about the talk that he had with Baekhyun last night and about the plan.

" Great! Now Chanyeol will be off our shoulders!" I said. I hugged him and I sat down at the corner of the right side of the U-shaped couch. Then Baekhyun woke up.

" Oh hi Karrera!" he said while yawning. He still lied down and was half-asleep. I replied with a hi.

I had just remembered that Tao was going to pick us up at 6 in the morning, leaving only half an hour.

" Guys! I just realized!" I exclaimed. Baekhyun woke up and sat up. " Tao's gonna pick us up at 6! There's only half an hour left!"

Baekhyun and Yixing realized that there wasn't much time left. They quickly ran and washed up and got dressed in about 7 minutes. They came back to the couch to discuss how we were going to tell Chanyeol.

" OK. Here. How about I go and run to Chanyeol, waking him up, and I'll exclaim to him that I had a weird dream that you and Chanyeol were dating then Tao broke you up and he murdered Chanyeol. Chanyeol will be confused and ask why and I'll tell him that Tao will break you up and tear you to pieces, never talking to you again," said Baekhyun.

" Great. We'll wait here. Karrera, you go to the bathroom in case he comes running in," said Yixing. They waited for me to run in and lock the door then Baekhyun ran into Chanyeol's room, pretending to be out of breath. The bathroom was attached to their room, so I could hear. Luckily none of the other members woke up.

" Chan! Chan! Chanyeol!" exclaimed Baekhyun while running in. Chanyeol woke up and freaked out.

" What!? What!?"

" I just had the CRAZIEST nightmare!"

" What was it?" asked Chanyeol. He got out of bed and sat on the edge, while Baekhyun sat on the edge of his bed, and they faced each other. They were very serious.

" Y...you and Karrera were dating...then you told us and someone who I can't remember went and told Tao. Then Tao broke you guys up and murdered you..!" exclaimed Baekhyun. Chanyeol laughed.

" Why was it scary? That's nothing to be SCARED about! You whimp!" laughed Chanyeol. Baekhyun still stuck to the script.

" No, you don't get it. Yixing and I were talking last night, and he said that Karrera said this with her own words. He said that whenever Karrera dates a guy, Tao gets involved, breaks them up somehow, whatever it takes, then HATES the guy for life. Once, Tao's best friend started to date Karrera...and...wait...you're not going to tell anyone..." said Baekhyun. Chanyeol shook his head.

" Of course not!"

" OK. Well, they dated for a few weeks then the secret slipped out and Tao found out. This was a few years ago. Then Tao tried to break them up but they wouldn't, so he locked Karrera up and went and beat up HIS BEST FRIEND outside. He didn't have any issues, because you know how great at martial arts he is. Tao said that if he sees him within 100 feet of Karrera, he would beat him up again. The guy ran away and moved to a new city, and the two never spoke again...and Karrera was left single," said Baekhyun.
