Chapter 23: Too Many Things Happen For A Title!

The guys sat down with me at the table and we started to discuss our thoughts about the song. Apparently, they all had a meeting. But Yixing and I were out...so we missed it.

" So what I've been told is that we agree on a fun-upbeat song where there's these guys trying to win the girl's heart but the girl won't accept. But of course, I won't have any romantic lines...because it's basically about my own sister..." he said. There was a split second of silence then we burst out laughing. The 5 of us were really having fun.

" EXO-K doesn't have that great song writers...so they left all this work on us. But, we've got all the great guys. For example, Chen is GREAT at lyrics. He's very poetic. Tao...and I guess that Kris too...are good at rapping and writing them. And Yixing is really good at writing music and melodies. We each need a few lines but Karrera you need a lot of lines," said Xiumin. He summed everything up.

" Karrera...if you don't mind us asking...but what are you BEST at?" asked Luhan. They all studied me and I blushed. I was never really that good at anything...at least that's what I thought...but everyone always told me that I was incredible or did that great. Eh. Whatever.

I was about to answer but Tao stopped me.

" Karrera!? Psh..she's great at everything! She has a soft, gentle voice when she talks but when she sings she's really strong and has great diction. She sings beautifully and I've heard it because she used to sing to herself very quietly when we were little. She's always been shy about it. She was also in choir ever since middle school up until high school. She's also a GREAT dancer...and she has a really great memorization and sense of rythem. She also has great movement...which comes from martial arts," said Tao. I blushed and hid my face. It was embarrassing. But the guys seemed to really be interested and impressed.

" How about you sing for us?" suggested Chen. I really didn't want to. It's embarrassing. Tao barged in again.

" The weird thing about Karrera...and I've noticed. In front of HUGE crowds she's able to perform, or just to herself. And she performs GREATLY. But for a few people she knows...she just won't," said Tao. They all nodded. They replied with that yeah same face.

" We can start now. Yixing...do you have any melodies we can possibly use?" asked Luhan. Usually, I guess that's what they told me...Yixing will record melodies and music just for himself and store them in his computer. Since he shares a room with Luhan, he knows.

" No. Not that we can use for a song like this..." said Yixing. " But I do have something in mind..."

He ran to the piano and we all followed. Chen whispered to me as we walked to the music room.

" Yixing's really a genius. He doesn't know how to read music or ever had a piano lesson...yet he's able to write such great music. You're really lucky to have someone like him..." said Chen. I blushed and he laughed. " Yeah you are!"

Yixing started to randomly play something beautiful. It was upbeat and would make sense for something like this. He was making it up as he went.

When he finished...we all aplauded. He did it amazingly.

" Great! We should use that!" said Xiumin. We all nodded...and we began to write the lyrics.

It was already 10 in the night and we were nearly finishing up the song. I was so exhausted...so I decided to go home. I said my goodbyes to everyone...and Tao drove me home.

" Don't forget to close your window...!" he said. He hugged me. " And if you need anything...just call me."

I nodded and he left.
