Chapter 29: Cheater

It was around 5:30 in the morning and Yixing already woke up. He gently one by one took his leg and arms off me and crept away towards the bathroom...but I woke up from it. I'm either an extremely light sleeper where I wake up from everything or and extremely deep sleeper where I don't move a muscle and nothing will wake me up.

"Y..Yixing?" I said. My eyes were still closed and I used me left hand to cover it with my elbow sticking out.

He turned back.

" Oh Karrera! I'm so sorry to wake you. How'd you sleep?" he asked.

I nodded.

" Good," I said. He walked into the bathroom and washed up. There wasn't any daylight and no one was outside. I was dressed, because I fell asleep in my regular clothes, and so I went back to my hotel room. I properly dressed and lied down on my bed and checked Instagram. Just to see what was new.

I actually slept good with Yixing. He made me feel warm and I think that after being chased by those sharks last night, I wouldn't have been able to sleep. I also checked my email because Tao told me that he was going to email me the lyrics for the song last night. I already knew the rythem, because we wrote it together. It was in my inbox, and he even color-coded them. My color was light blue...my favorite.

The lyrics were actually incredible. They had so much meaning and they were really beautiful. I practiced a little, and I saw that it was actually easier than I thought.

It was time to check out of the resort. The unlucky resort. We packed our things and we head down to the lobby. Poor Suho paid a LOT of money for us, but he didn't care. The van picked us up, and we drove back home. They dropped me off at home first. I hugged everyone a goodbye and I went back inside.

I went to the kitchen to make myself a sandwich because I was hungry. It ended up being a BLT.

I went onto the couch and I turned on my TV and I got a text from Erika. It wasn't the group chat, though.

" How'd it go? Did Yixing do anything to you...?" she asked.

" Hell no Erika! But I did save Tao's life and we were chased by sharks...and Yixing and I went on an INSANELY scary and dangerous waterslide that if it went wrong could kill us...but otherwise it was fine," I said.

" WHAT!?"

" Yeah. Believe it,"

" OK anyway when are your brothers visiting?" she asked me.

" Umm..." It was Tuesday. " This Sunday...for 3 days."

Erika REALLY wanted to see them.

" Great. But why are they visiting? Just because?" she asked.

" They wanna find a girlfriend..." I wrote. Oh no.

" YES! Both of them!?"

" Mmmhmm..." I wrote.

" GREAT! Chen can date me!" she wrote. Well, I guess Erika would be a good option since it wouldn't be a total stranger.

" Yeah. I guess..." I wrote.

" Oh! And, Hannah can date Luo! That works perfectly!" she wrote. Hannah would be good for Luo.

" Yeah. But we'll see...because I don't decide for them," I replied.

" Love talking to you...but I gotta go. Bye Karrer!" she wrote.

" Bye Er!" I wrote, and she replied with a kissing emoji.

It was Spring Break still, but I had to study because we had exams when we returned.

I took my textbooks out of my drawer and sat at my desk and began to study.

It was already 7 in the night and I was dying. I was so tired. I decided to go outside to downtown Seoul. Before Yixing...before this book started...it was my happy place. I drove my white Lamborghini that Yixing gifted me and I went and walked around. The streets were busy and there was all types of crowds. The neon lights and signs were bright as always, contrasting the cool, dark night.

There was one place in particular that I enjoyed. It was a bridge, and a long one too. People and couples will usually go there and stare at the lake for hours. Well, today I was alone, so I rested my arms at the bridge's sidings and I watched the others.

There weren't that many people today, so I studied everyone individually.

There were 5 " groups."

There was an old couple of seniors who were beautiful together.

There was a family with 2 kids, and a baby.

There was a group of mixed teenagers just having fun.

There was a plump man who just enjoyed the view.

And then...there was a young couple. The girl seemed beautiful. And she was with a guy. Similar to Yixing.

I studied them hard. The guy was wearing a mask. He was wearing a hoodie, too.

The guy hugged her tight and said, " I missed you..."

And he smiled...and I saw his dimple. He sounded like Yixing, too. He was wearing what Yixing gave me at the dorm. That same shirt. He even had that right shoulder tattoo.

No. No.

Yixing...

He's cheating on me! He even gave that girl a kiss on her cheek!

WHAT!? THAT...THAT...No. I won't say it.

I burst into tears and started to run away back to my car. I was noticed by Yixing and he ran after me, leaving the girl behind. He tried to grasp me and yelled Karrera! But I ignored him and continued to run to my car. Before he reached me, I was already driving away. I was driving away to somewhere I didn't know. I honestly just drove...away from Yixing.

He parked his car in the parking lot, too, and he started driving after me.

He could drive all he wanted but everything was through. All those memories, moments, gifts...gone.
