They were standing next to each other on the terrace. No one was speaking. Just exploring the silences. Both were looking up at the sky. "jab kuch bolna hi nhi tha to bulaya kyu?" Kiara said under her breath. He looked at her "Hmm?".. "Kuch nhi... I think I should sleep now.. Good night" She said sternly and turned to leave but could not as something stopped her. It was his firm grip on her wrist. She closed her eyes and sighed. "Kiara" He took her name lovingly and she opened her eyes but said nothing. He held her by her shoulder and made her face him. "Gussa ho?" He asked slowly. "Kyu pooch rhe ho Darshan? You don't care.. do you?" She said looking directly into his eyes. Her voice dipped in anger and pain. "I do care Kiara" His soothing voice reached her ears. She rolled her eyes and started looking at the left. He could see her eyes becoming watery. "I'm sorry" He chipped. Only love could be found in his voice. She looked at him trying hard to hold her tears back but could not. Both her eyes started to rain one after the other. "Ese thodi na hota hai Darsh.. Hamara Jhagda hoga to baat karna band kar doge?" She asked innocently. Her shivering voice invading his heart. "No.. never!.. I'm sorry please don't cry baby" He said wiping her tears. His voice losing it's calmness. "I felt so bad jab tumne kaha that you don't care" She complained. Her tears not ready to stay back. "Stop crying.. Please!" He pleaded and hugged her. His eyes also started feeling excess water in them. "I love you Kiara.. Please forgive me" He said breaking the hug. "No!" She replied straight wiping away the fresh tears. He looked at her with pleading eyes. "this is the last day of this beautiful year.. Iss saal ne hume kitna kuch diya Kiara! Now let us give it a happy ending!.. Please forgive me Kiara" He said making her realise that it's 31 Dec. She looked down thinking something and then looked up into his eyes. "Okay.. but only on one condition!" She said "Kya?" He asked. "You'll sing for me tomorrow.. New Year Party me.. Only for me!" She said and a little smile came up on her lips. He too smiled at her cuteness "Done" He said and hugged her. She completed the hug with a different kinda satisfaction in her heart. Everything became normal between them. :)
