After wishing everyone Kiara finally made some excuse and went to a corner. Her heart was throbbing against her chest making her breath heavily. She again dialed his number with her fingers crossed. Finally it connected. He picked up.
"Hello" he said in a heavy voice.
"He.. hello Darshan..where are you?" She asked with her voice shaking.
"Ghar pe" he replied slowly
"Darsh I wanna talk to you.. main aa rhi hun okay?" She said. her restlessness could easily be sensed in her voice.
"Kiara I'm sorry. But I need some time alone" he said with an urge in his voice.
"But Darsh.."
"Please Kiara" she tried to speak but he didn't let her.
"Darshan don't do this please.. I'm sorry" she said with her breaking voice.
"Its not your fault Kiara.. not your fault" he sighed.
"Darsh?" She called him with love and concern. Tears made their way down her orbs.
"Hmm" he hummed feeling her love and a lone tear left his eye too.
"We will be okay na?" She asked lost making his heart beat faster.
"Yess Kiara" he managed to speak.
"Hmm" she hummed wiping away her tears.
"Bye.. goodnight" he said
"Bye" she chipped. He was about to cut the call when she spoke up "Happy New year Darshan" She closed her eyes.
"Happy new year" he said feeling his heart becoming more heavy. A weird sense of fear gripped his heart.
"Good night" she chipped and they hung up.
After a few mmoments Kiara too left for her house. She went to bed after taking a shower. Her heart was paining. They loved each other so much! But sometimes excessive love also causes problems.
The whole night they couldn't sleep. Her shaking voice kept on ringing in his mind. His red eyes filled with anger kept on making her heart pain.
Soon the night got over and a new morning came. First morning of this new year.. She got up.. took a bath and after getting ready.. she left for his house..
