CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

JAMILLA's POV

Napataas ang dalawang kilay ko nang mapagbuksan ko nang pinto ng condo ko si Jared na seryosong seryoso na nakatingin sa akin. It's so UnJared.

"Err.. What's up?"-me

Saglit na napaatras ako nang bigla nalang niya akong sugurin nang yakap, really surprising me to the nth power. 

Lalo pang dumagdag sa kyuryosidad ko ang paninigas at panlalamig ng katawan ni Jared, for once I thought may sakit siya— 'coz he was breathing...hard.

"What's wrong, babe? Tell me." I whisper.

Lalong humigpit ang yakap niya sa akin, then he buried his face in my neck. "I'm scared. Im serious, im scared." he murmured.

Hinawakan ko siya sa braso at pinilit kong umalis sa pagkakayakap niya sa akin para makita ko siya. And I was more surprised when I saw his face because of the emotions that he's unable to hide.

So much fear. And anger. And sadness.

"They called me again, Jam. They fvcking called me again! I don't even know how they get my number but fuck! They also called my mother!" he screamed angrily.

Huminga ako nang malalim at saglit na nag isip. Ganitong maagang maaga eh hindi masyado maayos magproccess utak ko eh. What should I do? What should I do?! Processing..processing.. failed. Argh.

Sa huli, nagpasya na lang akong papasukin muna siya at ipaghanda nang breakfast, since it's still just 8AM in the morning.

Dumiretso na ako sa kusina. Hmm, ano bang magandang lutuin? I don't have much knowledge when it comes on cooking, pero kaya ko namang magprito-prito lang. So... i'll go for eggs and hams kaya binuksan ko na ang ref.

I frown when I opened the refrigerator. Ilang beses ko na bang nakakalimutan ang pag ggrocery? Tsk. Oh right, kasalanan ni Jared. Lagi niya kasi akong inaaya sa labas kumain kaya hindi na rin ako nagbbother na bumili pa. -______-"

Nakasimangot na bumalik ako sa sala. And I found Jared looking at nothing and lost in his deep thoughts. My Poor Jared.

Kahit kating-kati na akong malaman kung ano man ang problema niya, pinilit kong kalmahin ang sarili ko. Later on, I found myself in front of Jared and smiling shyly.

"Umm.."-me

I looked down.. shyly. Grr! Bakit ko ba siya inimbitang magbreakfast dito, wala naman pala akong maipapakain sa kaniya? Jeez, sometimes, I just want to be eaten from the ground, like now.

I looked up to him again, and he's raising one brow to me while his lips are in one line and his eyes narrowed. Napabuntong hininga ako.

"I forgot to do groceries.. Do you mind if we eat outside? My treat promise!" Dire-diretsong sabi ko pagtapos ay pilit na ngiting binigay ko sa kaniya.

"How can you eat here if you don't have food in there?" he asked me curiously.

"Well you always used to bring me in some fancy restau to eat so I don't bother to buy foods." I said, shrugging.

Lalong nangunot ang noo niya, forming a little lines on his forehead. "I did not asked you out last night because Im so exhausted from work so that means you didn't eat yet?"
