Chapter 39: Lone

--Claire's P.O.V--

"Is he awake yet?" I ask one of the guards once I walk in the pack house from my run. He shakes his head and I nod.

"Claire! It's about time. We need to get you dressed!" Lila yelled when she saw me walk into the kitchen. She followed me to the kitchen and sat on the counter while I took a water bottle. Apparently, Ray wants to have a celebration or whatever it is to welcome me as their Luna and when Adrian wakes up, he'll be Ray's third in command. It's been two weeks already. Two.

"Alright let me take a shower." I reply and walk to my room. I sit in the tub with the warm water hitting my back, relaxing me in a way nobody could ever do.

I miss him. I muss my brother. I miss his ridiculous jokes and his unique way of showing how much he loved me. I can't stop the tears from running down my face. I miss my brother.

"Claire?" Lila calls from the other side of the door. I clear my throat and get up from my spot.

"I'm coming." I yell and turn off the faucet then wrap a towell around my body and another for my hair. I walk out the bathroom and see a long black sparkly dress on my bed and a pair of heals next to it. Lila walks me over to my black leather chair and sits me down.

"I'll start on your make up then I'll do your hair, ok?" She asks and I nod.

After an hour of eyebrow plucking and painting my face with make up she starts on my hair. She straightens my whole hair and when she finishes she steps back and grins at me.

"You look beyond beautiful." She squeals and hands me a mirror. I really don't look that bad. My hair is dead áss straight and my make up is simple.

"Thank you." I smile at her and she nods.

"Get dressed, I'll wait for you outside in the back, ok? Take your time." She says and walks out. I put on the dress and the heals and look in the mirror. I love the way the dress fits me. Its strapless and tight around my boobs and its so long it leaves a trail behind. It looks like the ones they use in weddings that in the back the dress drags itself.

After merely twenty minutes of checking myself out I decide to walk out. I walk to the back where Lila said she'll wait. I see her standing in front of the glass doors that lead to the backyard. She's wearing a mid thigh tan colored dress that has sparkles on the top and nude stilletos that make her legs look a lot longer and beautiful. Her hair is neatly braided to the side in a fish tail braid. Her make up is simple with the little wings on the side of her eyes. When she noticed me she grins and looks me up and down.

"You look beautiful." She squeals.

"Compared to you, you look like a queen." I grin. She laughs and shakes her head then pulls me into a hug. She pulls back and grabs my hand in hers. She opens the glass door and we walk out hand in hand.

I am left awestruck when I see the outside. It's slightly dark but the Christmas lights that are decorated around the tables and tied around illuminate the whole place. There are lighted up balloons floating around making the yard look like a fire fly convention or who knows. The tables are scattered around the yard and everyone in the pack is in the backyard. They all stare at me as I look around.

"It's so beautiful." I whisper letting go of Lila's hand and look up at the sky.

"Not as beautiful as you though." I hear a familiar musculine voice say. I turn to face Raymond and he smiles at me. Even though I'm wearing heals he still manages to be taller.

"You look stunning." He says as he looks me up and down. He pulls me to him and kiss my cheek. "Absolutely breathe taking." He whispered in my ear. He pulls back and looks at me again.

"Here." He whispers and takes out a box from his pocket and hands it to me. I open it and see a very nice necklace that looks like a moon and it has the words 'I love you...... To the moon and back'. I look up at him and gasp.

"I love it! Thank you." I pull him into a hug.

"I love you." He whispers in my ear.

"I love you too." I whisper back. I felt his body relax and he tightened his grip around me.

"Come on let's introduce you as our official Luna, my Luna." He pulls back and extends his arm for me to grab. I do and we walk to the middle of the backyard.

I know, I know I suck but I hope you enjoy. I'll post another one in a few or maybe tomorrow in the morning.

But if you must know, I have NO update schedule I just do it when I can or when I feel like it.
