"Have you seen the new kid?" Lilly asked, while clinching into arm.
I had agreed to go to the mall with her to help her look some summer clothes. I started regretting after about an hour of walking. My feet were killing me and my back was aching so bad.
"Mm, yeah. I've seen him." I mumble.
"He's a total hottie huh? And that accent." She groans.
"I'm with Ethan." I mumble back.
I didn't know why, but talking about the new kid made me extremely uncomfortable.
"Yes I know. And Ethan is still number one hottie at our school, but he better watch his back because new kid is a close second."
I could practically smell the sex off her breath.
"His name is Liam." I say quietly.
Her eyes practically bulge out of her head. "You two have met?"
"We have 7th together." I inform.
She groans again. "You think it's two late for me to transfer classes?"
I laugh. "Well considering there's only about 2 more months of school left, yeah, I'm pretty positive you're stuck where you are. Even if you do explain how horny the new kid makes you."
She playfully gasps.
I groan remembering the pain of my back.
"Lilly, how much longer do we have to be here?"
"Oh god, I'm so sorry! Sometimes I completely forget that you're with child."
"How can you possibly forget? I'm huge!" I exclaim.
"You're not that-" She stops.
"Exactly! I'm huge!" I roll my eyes.
"No!" She snaps. "He's here!"
"Who's here?" I ask looking around.
She points over in the direction of Liam.
"He's here." She bites her lip and then turns towards me with puppy dog eyes.
"I promise you we will leave, no questions asked, if you please let me just go up to talk to him for a few minutes." She begs.
After taking my pain into regard, I agree.
She smiles, grabs me by the arm and walks in his direction.
"Hey. Liam right?" Lilly asks.
He turns and smiles. "You are correct. You must be Lilly."
"How'd you know?" She smiles.
"Lucky guess. How are you Megan?" He asks.
My eyes shift from off the ground and look into his.
I show a slight smile before searching the ground again.
"So what brings you to our country?" Lilly asks.
I refrain from scoffing.
