Jue.

I laid across my bed, on a phone call trying to be flirtatious with Audrey. She had informed me her mans was gone off on a business trip for a week and I was in need of sexual action. I couldn't get to what I wanted to due to the continuous knocking on my door.

"So what you doing tomorrow night?" I asked lowly and raspily until I grew feed up with the knocking. I didn't even allow time for her to answer when I said, " Hold on." and put myself on mute.

I stood from my bed and stepped to my door, swinging it open and faced Evi.

"What?"

"Could you take me to a job interview?" She asked, holding her hands in front of her body.

A week had past since Evi's arrival and looks like she finally found an open, hiring job. Though, it depends on how this interview go.

We stared back at each other for a few more moments until I grumbled. "Give me a moment." She gestured a nod and trailed from the door.

I closed my door back, unmuted myself and told Audrey I'd have to catch up with her later. I put on a shirt and some shoes on my feet and exited the room with my keys in my hand.

"Alright, come on."  I told her as she sat on the couch. She looked back at me and rose up, following me out the front door.

We both buckled up in silence once we were in my car. I reversed out the driveway and soon was cruising down the street—not knowing where to go yet.

"Where is this interview again?" I asked with my eyes on the road.

"Walmart. They're the only ones that called back." I mentally traced my route.

"Mm, they can be dirty at Walmart sometimes." I warned.

"You've worked there?"

"No, a cousin of mine."

"Guess I'll find out sooner than later." She said before it got silent between us again.

This Deville was pretty aged so the radio no longer worked and occasionally the air conditioner didn't. Therefore, I couldn't occupy the silence with any noise at the moment and I honestly hated tension-filled silence between anyone.

"I haven't seen a car like this in a while." She spoke as I slowed to a red traffic light.

"Yeah, it was my dad's. I cannot wait to get rid of this lemon." I leaned back against the seat.

"It's that bad?"

"A nightmare."

"What's your car preference?" We were still sitting at the light, this was an extremely long one.

"Um.. I'm into big bodies like Jeeps or Tahoe's." I answered, driving off on the green light.

"I want a drop top to be honest, though." I added.

"You're just an old school type huh?" She asked. I nodded, shoving my shoulders.

"Guess I am."

"I think I could see you in a big body truck. Maybe a pick up though."

"Eh, yeah. I believe every man needs at least one pickup truck in their life."

"Oh wow. I'm into rims, interior lights and tinted windows. Things of that such."
