Shalini, "Dev I have fixed up some dinner for us, come let's eat."
Dev, "Shalini, guess what? I got a date with her. She just gave me her number, she wants me to meet her over a cup of coffee."
Shalini (happy & excited), "What? This is amazing news sweetheart."
Dev, "yeah looks like."
Shalini, "Why the F&*k you are not excited."
Dev, "what is there to be excited. I am only meeting a girl over coffee."
Shalini, "yeah but she could be the one Dev."
Dev, "let's see. I have no clue what I am suppose to do."
Shalini, "what you have done yet, just do that. I am sure you did great, that is the reason she gave you her number so easily. Show me the chat, let me read what you did."
Dev, "no ways, I can't share it with you."
Shalini, "Dev seriously?"
Dev, "OK fine, take, read it & help me, I have no clue where I should be taking her & what I should be Waring."
Shalini, "it is just a casual meet up over coffee, don't think to fancy. Just find a place convenient for the both of you & pick up something comfortable yet stylish from your wardrobe."
Shalini read the chat as Dev was having dinner.
Dev, "don't you want to eat. You cook so good always, I don't want to finish it all."
Shalini, "hold on now, how do you do this man? I just read your chat, this is f&#king interesting stuff. You are so good in conversation with girls & you have never dated someone before. Sometimes I feel I really don't know you."
Dev, "relax it is nothing that great. I don't fake & I think that helps me connect so well with girls because girls are so good at understanding if a guy is faking it or not & they can do this because they are so good at faking (scornfully laughing)."
Shalini, "you ass, yes we are good at understanding what is fake, the second part I will not agree with at all."
Both had dinner & then Dev left for home.
The next day he got busy with the usual work & some where in the afternoon he got a message from Parvati.
Parvati, "is something wrong?"
Dev, "not really. What happened?"
Parvati, "I guess I shared my number with you dude."
Dev, "yeah I know. What about it?"
Parvati, "seriously?"
Dev, "what am I missing here? Please tell me what wrong have I done."
Parvati, "when a girl shares her number, a guy is suppose to call her & let me tell you guys don't get my number that easy."
Dev, "Oh that makes me feel special & trust me I was wanting to call you just that I was thinking of a place."
Parvati, "meet me at 8:00 sharp at Cafe Mondegar. Don't be late. I just hate late."
Dev, "cool I will be there, see you."
Parvati, "see you."
