Kriti was quite high at this point of time to check her phone & her sister was quite worried about her because of that text message that she had sent. Dev and Shalini here had no idea about this scenario getting constructed, in fact all three were parting hard but one wise thing that Kriti's sister did was, before calling the cops she kept calling on Kriti's phone. After couple of miss calls Dev heard the ring tone & immediately rushed to lower the volume of music. Kriti finally answered the phone.

Kriti, "yes Payal, sorry I guess I missed your call, I am at a party."

Payal, "Kriti I was sick worried about you, don't you remember the message that you sent me."

Kriti (worried tone), "gosh, I am so sorry." She left the room & headed to the porch to sort this issue out. "Payal don't worry I am fine, I just got lost in the conversation & the music was too loud for me to check my phone. I am extremely sorry for this very serious misunderstand, hope you have not called the cops."

Payal, "I was about to do that Kriti if you would had not answered this call, now will you please make it home soon, mom & dad are getting worried. Dam you scared the hell out of me crazy sis. Good for that guy, he could had got into serious trouble."

Kriti, "yes yes, thank God sweetheart you did not call the cops. Love you for this & don't worry I will be home in next half an hour."

She kept the phone & rushed inside.

Kriti, "Dev & Shalini, you super cool & amazing people please excuse me but I am seriously late. I have to reach home in next 30 minutes. Dev is you don't mind can we leave now."

Shalini got up to hug Kriti & told her how much she had enjoyed her company.

Dev & Kriti left from Shalini's place, while on the way Dev asked Kriti if everything was fine.

Kriti, "yeah all is well, nothing serious, just a minor misunderstanding."

Dev, "OK, the way you rushed to talk to your sister got the both of us worried."

Kriti, "relax dude, all OK, just that I had done something very silly & then I did not answer my sister's phone which had pissed her off really bad, so I had to calm her down. In fact I had so much fun, I owe you for this. Shalini is such a fun person, all the stress I had from the dam office shit has left my mind."

Dev, "really glad that you had fun, I was worried about all the confusion but the evening really turned out to be a good one."

Kriti, "Oh Dev, you really worry a lot." (laughing)

Dev, "really! Look who is talking."

They reached Kriti's place, Dev opened the car door for her.

Dev, "thanks once again for trusting me."

Kriti, "thanks to you Dev for making my day, I will see you soon, TC bye."

She headed towards the gate of her house when Dev called out her name, "Kriti, one thing I forgot to ask you."

Kriti, "yeah go on, ask."

Dev, "when I came to pick you up, why you asked me to step out of the car?"

Kriti (laughing), "I wanted to check your height, because I am tall & short guys really don't look good next to me."

Dev (smiling), "hope I was not a disappointment."

Kriti, "not at all Dev, not at all."
