Mr. Sinha hugged his son again, comforted him & then said, "enough of all this crying & emotional business. Let's go & have a good father son breakfast. Even today I can beat you in eating (laughing)

Dev (cheered up), "let's go, I have practised a lot & I am sure today I am going to beat you."

Mr. Sinha & Dev reached their favourite restaurant to indulge in some famous north Indian delicacies. As they were enjoying all the food they could eat, Mr. Sinha got a call. 

Mr. Sinha, "Dev, Shalini is calling me."

Dev, "Oh crap! I did not tell her that I was coming here & I have not answered to her phone or messages & I even left my phone at home. Anyways you answer."

Mr. Sinha, "Shalini sweetheart how are you?"

Shalini, "Sinha uncle I doing great, sorry to call you this early."

Mr. SInha, "it is not early sweetheart. How are things with you?"

 Shalini, "All good with me uncle. I have been trying to reach out to Dev but he is not answering my phone. Is he there with you?"

Mr. SInha, "yes he is, I will give the phone to him & also tell him that it is not a good thing to not answer your best friends phone. (putting the phone a little away from his ears) In a stern voice, Dev this is very irresponsible of you. You have kept Shalini so worried & you don't even tell her that you are here with me, very bad. (laughing)

Dev, "dad please stop pretending, you totally suck at acting."

Dev took the phone away from his father, "before you yell at me, let me tell you that I have a very valid justification."

Shalini, "you a&^ho&$ what do you think of yourself, how irresponsible of you to just disappear like this. What do you think of yourself?"

Dev, "shalini relax let me explain."

Shalini, "Dev I am very upset with you & I don't think any of your justification is going to work."

Dev interrupting her, "Sahlini, listen to me, I came here all of sudden because I had to be with dad. He needed my help with some important work related to our property here." putting the phone away & in a low tone telling his father, "sorry but this is the best excuse I could come up with."

Shalini, "whatever be it, you could have informed me."

Dev, "yes I am truly sorry for that, please accept my apology."

Shalini, "OK accepted & also Dev your dating thing is working out just great. Neeraj when he returned back from the trip, I told him everything about your new take on dating & relationship & guess what?for the very first time, he said, finally Dev is doing something good with his life. I am really happy for him. Invite him over for dinner along with his girlfriend. Also Dev his behaviour with me is just to good now & sweetheart I owe you a big one for this." Dev was speechless for a moment after listening to this. "Dev are you still there?"

Dev, "wao Shalini this is great news, I will talk to you about all of this when I am back. I am leaving tomorrow morning, so see you soon."

After the call was over, he told his dad about all that was going on between Neeraj & Shalini.

Mr. Sinha, "son it is good & priceless the relation & bonding you have with Shalini. My only suggestion to you is, do everything in your power to see her happy."
