The next morning they left for Mumbai, Pinky was very excited and Dev was curious about what would happen when she would meet Shalini. He was anyways presenting her with another surprise after the last one & this time Shalini was not in talking terms as she was upset with Dev. After landing when they were heading back to Dev's place, Dev got a call on the way which he ignored because he was driving. Following this call were back to back messages which he again ignored as he was busy having a conversation with Pinky. When he stepped out of the car he checked his phone & it was all from Shalini, he quickly called her back, she answered:

Dev, "hey I am so sorry, I was driving."

Shalini, "no that's ok Dev. Did you check your messages?"

Dev, "no, tell me what happened?"

Shalini, "I forgive you you idiot, that is what has happened. I was missing you so wanted to ask when are you coming back?"

Dev, "what a news this is (in a cheerful voice) & guess what?"

Shalini, "what?"

Dev, "I am here already & I have an amazing surprise for you."

Shalini, "wao! I am all exited now. Hey today I have taken a leave from office. Come to my place for lunch. Neeraj is home as well."

Dev, "sure thing. Hey by the way I have someone along with me, can I bring her too?"

Shalini, "19 dates? (laughing) you cheeky ba*&^*d, you keep telling me no & you are totally doing this thing."

Dev, "hold on, she is not my date. She is someone you have forgotten. This is more like a reunion."

Shalini, "I have forgotten? Who the heck is this person."

Dev, "I don't want to tell you, I want to show you so bye. See you soon."

Shalini, "hey hey..."

Dev disconnected the phone & headed inside the house. Shalini called him but he did not take her calls. She sent him a lot of abuses over messages which was normal. Dev told Pinky about the lunch invitation at Shalini's place & asked her to get ready.
