Next morning Shalini called Dev & thanked him for being so good to Tanuja. Tanuja had thanked Shalini for making it happen.

Dev, "I think I should be the one thanking you. I am sorry for having a prejudice mind, she is a great person."

Shalini, "I am glad you had fun. So I think now 19 dates is finally happening (excited)"

Dev, "why do you have to jump to conclusions without even hearing things from me before?"

Shalini, "I don't see any reason why you should not give this a try."

Dev, "I don't give a try to things I don't believe in."

Shalini, "stop being such a jerk man."

Dev, "you stop controlling me for once."

Shalini, "WTF. You really think that? Dude you are my best friend. Never thought that you think I am controlling you. This has hurt me Dev, I don't want to talk to you."

Dev, "Shalini I am sorry, I don't know why I said this."

Shalini, "you said it because you had it inside your heart all this time. Just get lost Dev." She disconnected the call. Dev tried calling her several times but she did not answer any of his calls. He was upset & really guilty about saying that to Shalini. He was sitting alone in his room when his dad knocked the door & entered.

Mr. Sinha, "son not in the mood to eat lunch?"

Dev, "dad, I am so sorry, dint realize what time it was. Yeah I am not in the mood to eat, come I will serve you."

Mr. Sinha, "come on son, I can serve myself. You look upset, what's wrong, you can share it with you old man."

Dev, "nothing serious, I had a fight with Shalini."

Mr. Sinha, "hmm I get it, fine I will leave you alone then but I am sure you both will resolve this soon."

Dev, "yeah I know that dad, come now I will serve you. I need your company anyways, have been missing it all this time."

Mr. Sinha, "now that's like boy, come."

Both were sitting in the dining area, Mr. Sinha was telling Dev about how disconnected people in Mumbai were from each other. Everyone was busy running, trying to catch up with life when life itself was walking along side, which they were ignorant about. Dev agreed with his dad but then he also told him that life here was complicated and people liked it that way. Those who were born to be here never liked or could never survive the ordinary; it had to be mad, tough, complex & hard. This and much more is what fuels the people of Mumbai. Father son had a good conversation about this great city & Mr. Sinha agreed to what Dev said, he respected the fact that people were so hardworking and amidst all their hardships they were connected in their own different ways. Also Mr. Sinha broke the news to Dev that he had to return back to Dehradun as one of his friend from the club was not keeping well. Dev told his dad that he would book his flight tickets but even he would come along.
