Chapter 12

So Dev's mini tour back home came to an end & he had a fantastic time with his father. A lot had changed inside of him & to a great extent he returned a new person. Shalini came to the airport to receive him & to his surprise Neeraj as well. When he saw Neeraj, he was stunned.

Neeraj, "welcome back Dev, how is your dad & how are things at home."

Dev, "things are just fantastic Neeraj & what a pleasant surprise to see you."

Neeraj, "yeah, I have put in leave for a couple of days after this silly inspection visit I had to go for. So since I had nothing to do at home, I decided to come & pick you up along with Shalini and it only gets better I am also taking the both of you for lunch. (smiling)"

Dev look at Shalini & his look had a million questions in it. Shalini only smiled at him & her smile answered all his million questions. 

Dev, "well Neeraj I really feel very special about this man, thank you for taking the time out for me."

Neeraj, "oh come on now, it is nothing. Let's not waste any more time, come on."

Dev, "so where are we going?"

Neeraj, "yeah, I have been hearing a lot about this TexMex cuisine being served at the Chillies in Powai,  let's give it a try."

Shalini, "waoo Neeraj, sounds great, I am super excited lets go. The first ever hangout with my boyfriend & my bff, what else can a girl ask for."

Neeraj, "anything for you baby."

They reached the place, everything was just perfect the food & the ambience & all the happy people around, with Neeraj getting along & trying to know Dev better, he finally popped up the question.

Neeraj, "Dev, when are you introducing us to your girlfriend."

Dev (smiling), "girlfriend? Well not really, I have just been on a date once."

Neeraj, "see Dev, I know that this is something new for you but you can really count on me when it comes to understanding a lady. (winking)"

Shalini laughed aloud & Dev tried his very best to not.

Neeraj, "what? Shalini, who would know better then you?"

Shalini, "yes yes of course Neeraj, who would know better, how bad you are at understanding a lady." (laughing again)

Neeraj, "this is very rude but I will let it pass and yes Dev you can ignore her laughing, after all I did manage to impress her right so her laughter is contradicting her choice i would say." 

Dev, "Shalini, Neeraj has a point here."

Just as he said this, he received a notification on his phone. Dev had a new Tinder match. Dev matched with November Girl.
