Chapter 6

Dev was on his way to Shalini's place when his phone buzzed, he thought is must be Shalini teaxting to check where he had reached. He kept driving, it buzzed yet again but he did not stop to check his messages. He reached Shalini's place & rung the door bell, Shalini opened the door.

Dev, "am I late?"

Shalini, "not at all, you are perfectly on time."

Dev, "I am not sensing any sarcasm in your words."

Shalini, "that is because I am not using any."

Dev, "then why did you text me twice knowing that I must be driving."

Shalini, "what? I did not Mr."

Dev, "oh gosh, then there is a possibility it would be her."

Shalini, "oh wao! check the messages soon."

Dev checked his phone & there were two messages from Parvati showing in the notification. He quickly saw them, it read, "hey Dev, sorry I was busy the whole day." "you there?"

Shalini who was peeping in Dev's phone without Dev noticing it asked him to reply.

Dev, "Shalini go get yourself some wine."

Shalini, "OK OK, I understand you need your time with her, after all she kept you so desperate the entire day (laughing)"

Dev, "shut up, I was not desperate at all."

Shalini went into to the kitchen to fix up some food for the both of them & Dev replied to Parvati.

Dev, "hey, that is OK. So your profile speaks nothing about you."

Parvati, "yeah that is because I don't like to give information about myself."

Dev, "OK but in that case how will someone know you or at least have a brief understanding of your personality."

Parvati, "if I like someone I would tell them that."

Dev, "OK"

Parvati, "what made you like my profile with out knowing anything about me. I am asking this because you seem to be a guy who only likes connecting with people who give a brief introduction about themselves lol."  

Dev, "to be very honest, I am new to this dating thing. I liked all the profile & you were my first match."

Parvati, "oh so you chose me by chance (angry emoji)"

Dev, "sorry if that offends you but yes because I was clueless about what I should had done."

Parvati, "chill dude, relax, I was only messing."

Dev, "OK so all cool then. So what made you like my profile."

Parvati, "tons of detailed shit that you have written about yourself."

Dev, "OK, so you liked me because you liked what I had written about myself or because you find all of it to be shit? Help me I am confused."

Parvati, "lol, I liked you because I found your picture very attractive, specially your hair (wink emoji)."

Dev, "I am speechless (blush emoji)."

Parvati, "let's catch up tomorrow over a cup of coffee, here is my number 98*&^#!%89."

Dev, "alright then, I will call you tomorrow."

Parvati, "do that, TC & bye."
