Using the sleeve of his jacket, he wiped the sweat from his forehead. Taking in a shaky, deep breath, he popped a tic-tac into his mouth just in case. He felt the air around him suddenly become much thicker and his hands become even clammier with every passing second. If he were in a cartoon, his heart would literally be beating out of his chest right now.
"Marzia?"
She turned around and slammed shut the blue, metal door to her locker. Eyes meeting a tall boy with shaggy blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
"Um.." he paused. "I... Uh..."
She raised a perfect eyebrow at the stuttering boy. Her eyes nervously wondering away from his face.
"I was wondering if you'd like to see a movie or something with me this weekend? Or not... Only if you want to..."
A blush spread across the Italian girl's rosy cheeks. She was flattered at Felix's sweet gesture, not knowing before hand that he even had any interest in her.
He watched anxiously as she tucked a few strands of her long, brown hair behind her ear, grinning. "I'd love to."
