{165} "Do You Like Girls?"

"Do you like girls, Mark?"

Mark shrugged and looked down at his feet and took a seat on the gym mat across from Jett.

"I don't know."

The two of them had gone to the gym to work out late at night, which probably wasn't a good idea. The sound of treadmills running and the squeaking of ellipticals, and box fans in the loud, foul smelling gym was enough to throw Mark off guard, which was unusual considering he normally didn't notice it.

"So basically you're not sure of your sexuality?" Jett asked. His nose crinkling slightly as he crossed one leg over the other and painfully stretched the lower part of his back.

Honestly, Maybe Mark did know his sexuality. Maybe he didn't. But either way, he was still quite shy about it and wasn't even near ready to come out as anything yet.

"I mean, I know I like boys." Mark continued, "Obviously. But maybe I do like girls a little bit, too? I don't know. Doesn't really matter now, anyway. I'm engaged and I'm so happy, not too worried about my sexuality anymore..."

And that was exactly how he felt about it.

"How did your dad find out you like guys, anyway? Cause you and Jack have been together for like, since first grade, haven't you?"

Once more, Mark nodded.

"Jack wrote me a love letter, cause it was around Valentine's day and he gave me a card at school. I hid it under my pillow when I got home, and eventually my dad found out..." Mark began, reminiscing events from so long ago. "Uh... He asked me about it and I started crying because I always thought it was bad to have a crush on another boy. So, I was really scared he would hate me... But he didn't."

"Awww!" Jett cooed in a baby voice and receiving a glare from Mark as he stood up and lifted a dumbbell.

Slightly hissing in pain as he practically yanked out the hair tie that had become so tangled in his long hair, the Asian boy slowly retied his hair up into a messy bun as he rolled his eyes.

"Shut the hell up! What about you and Ronnie then? Baby's coming in a few months now."

Jett smiled at the thought of his little baby girl. "I know, I can't wait. I love her so much already and I can't wait to finally meet her."
