Monday mornings are always the worst, especially after having two weeks off from school. Almost everyone in the class had their heads down on the table or were in bad moods because they simply just didn't feel like being there, and the fact that it felt like it was only 10 degrees in the classroom didn't help.

"I'm tired, I'm ready to go home now." He said, scribbling something in the corner of his paper.

Jack, on the other hand, wasn't even working on his math paper anymore. He felt mentally challenged and just gave up. Like, he barely remembered anything they'd learned all year. He pouted, snuggling into the Frozen blanket he'd gotten for Christmas.

"Can I just copy your paper, Marky? I don't wanna actually do any work today."

Mark slid his paper to his boyfriend, who quickly copied down the answers using a glittery blue pen before sliding it back to him.

Their teacher walked around the room, passing out report cards since they hadn't sent them in the mail over the break. It's about damn time.

The room filled with the sound of ripping paper as students quickly opened their envelopes.

"Ah, god fucking damn it! My mom's gonna kill me!" A Jock yelled to a few of his friends.

Mark just sat, nervously looking down at the sealed envelope. In all honesty, he was scared to see his grades. He never knew why he always got so anxious over it since he'd always get straight A's anyway. He just did.

"Oh! God bless!" Jack waved his report card in Mark's face, feeling accomplished with

his straight A's and perfect 4.0 GPA - as usual. The small Irish boy made a few internal noises as he stood up and started twerking out of joy. "Marky, I'm 'bout to throw my ass back in every geometrical shape for you!"

Mark opened his envelope and unfolded his paper.

Straight A's and a 4.3 GPA.

"I better get that Bill Gates scholarship in two years or I'm jumping out somebody's window." He grinned, standing up from his seat and slinging his backpack over his shoulder.

"No you aren't. You're not leaving me."
