Turns out pregnancy really was no joke, and Ronnie soon began to realize that.
He sighed and leaned back in his chair. He really was excited about this new step in his life, but Ronnie really didn't know if he was ready for a baby yet as it'd been something he'd always wanted to wait until after he was married for. He also felt guilty, considering he'd been pregnant since around Christmas without knowing, and it's March now.
"You okay?" Jack asked, entering the room with Tyrone cradled in his arms as he took a seat on Ronnie's bed.
"Mhm," He nodded, "Just thinking."
"About what?"
"Like what the baby's name should be. Stuff like that. I want to name her something really cute."
Jack paused for a second and quirked an eyebrow, "Wait, she? How do you know it's a girl, isn't it still too early to find out?"
"Well, yeah, but yesterday the lady at the nail salon said she thinks it's a girl because my belly is low... Or something like that. I don't even remember what she said." He shrugged, placing his hands on the cute, 13 week bump that had formed over his abdomen. "I'm sad that my high-waisted jeans don't fit anymore."
"At least your booty looks nice. I dunno, you still look cute and you're a really tiny person so you won't get huge or anything." Jack smiled, looking on the bright side. He felt Tyrone try to escape his lap and pulled him closer.
Tyrone probably hated Jack. Hell, he might even hate Ronnie a bit for that matter. Just as Jack poked the cat's stomach, Tyrone jumped up and bit his face.
He gasped dramatically and held his hand to his nose. There was no blood and he wasn't injured, but he was shook as fuck.
"I'm really upset right now! I think Tyrone wants to catch these hands, to be honest. He's a snake!"
All Ronnie could do was laugh as Jack aggressively followed Tyrone out of the room.
A/N: Sorry this book is a bit boring right now. I have some things planned, so hopefully it'll pick back up! Any feedback is welcome (:
