"And then I fell up the stairs and my whole life flashed before my eyes! Nobody even saw it except Ronnie!"

Mark chuckled at Jack's overly dramatic story as he lit the last vanilla-scented candle and flicked off the bathroom light. It'd been a crazy day and somewhat stressful for the both of them, so they decided it'd be nice to take a bath together. Just being able to spend and hour relaxing in each other's company and talking about various topics made them forget about all their problems, responsibilities and other people even. And this wasn't a new thing for them. They definitely took baths together often, but not often enough.

Jack tossed in a pink rose-scented bath bomb and they stripped down their clothing before climbing in the bathtub. Mark rested his head back, leaning back with Jack laying on his chest.

Mark glanced down at Jack, admiring the way the light from the candles illuminated his perfect facial features. He smiled, watching the Irish boy close his eyes and bite his plump lip as his hand began to massage the tense and hurting muscles in his back. Mark's hand traced over the quote tattooed on the right side of his boyfriend's lower back.

Meet me where the sky touches the sea. Wait for me where the world begins.

He paused for a second. "I kinda want a tattoo..."

"Really? Of what?" Jack glanced up, Mark's hand still on his back. "You should get one!"

Mark shrugged. The feeling of the hot water on his body relaxing him. "I don't know. My dad said no, anyways. He says my skin color is too pretty and he'd hate for me to cover it up so soon."

"It is really pretty. You're so tan."

The bath water had turned a pretty pastel pink, and the bathroom smelled like a mixture of rose petals and cupcakes. Jack pressed a sweet kiss to Mark's chin and gently ran his hand up and down the older's smooth, muscular chest.

"I love you so much, honey."

Mark kissed the pale skin on the back of Jack's small hand, "I love you more."
