"- And then I was like what does a stomach look like? Cause I really couldn't tell what part the stomach was, so we asked and our frog had two stomachs!" Mark dramatically rambled to his dad as they pulled out of the school parking lot. "I just feel very traumatized right now, and Jack just laughed at me!"

"Because it was funny to me!" Jack giggled from the back seat.

"You're fine. You won't die."

Clifton playfully rolled his eyes. Mark was his baby and he truly loved him more than anything in the whole world, but when he and Jack were together, goddamn, did he think they were annoying. Jack was a very special child as he would put it, but he still loved him.

The blonde man took a sip of his cherry flavored slushie, choosing to ignore Mark, Jack and whatever random rap song they were rapping along to that was currently playing on the radio.

He sighed contently, excited to finally be going home and not having to be bothered by anyone. As he drove, he admired the bright blue sky and the tiny buds that had began sprouting on the tree branches. Spring was definitely his favorite season.

"Oh, I want some slushie! Can I have some?" Jack asked, enthusiastically pushing some of his much overgrown curly hair out of his eyes.

Clifton passed the large cup back to Jack, "Don't chew my straw, and don't drink all of it or you can't have brownies after dinner."

"Yay!" the Irish boy grinned, immediately chugging the drink.

"I want some, too!" Mark practically screamed, and Jack handed him the cup.

Jack unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned forward, yanking Mark's hair and snatching the cup from his hands. "Marky stop! You got more than me!"

"I didn't!"

"Yes you did!"

Mark reached for the cup, and just as Jack snatched it away the top had popped off and cherry slushie spilled on the front of Jack's sweatshirt. He screamed as he felt the cold liquid seep through his shirt onto his soft pale skin.

"Ha! That's what you get for snatching!" Mark laughed. His hand rubbing his throbbing scalp.

As soon as they got home and Clifton parked in the driveway, He immediately jumped out of the car and ran towards the front door with Mark and Jack following close behind.

"Dad, stop running away!"

"We spilt some of your slushie, but you can have the rest back." Jack handed back the cup.

Clifton placed a hand on his forehead and sighed.

"Just keep it."
