It was beginning to seem like no matter what Mark and Jack did, they just couldn't get Lemon Jell-O to be happy.
"I think we should take his batteries out, to be honest. I feel really unfortunate, ya know?" Jack shrugged, skipping ahead of Mark and his dad toward the hospital doors.
Mark nodded, slightly swinging the cheap, blue baby seat. He jumped over a rain puddle, almost completely dropping their 'son' and causing him to erupt in another fit of uncontrollable crying.
"We really should. I use to really want kids, but I think this project has healed me. Like, I'm all better now."
Clifton breathed an annoyed sigh as he opened the doors and they proceeded toward the blood center, stopping outside the door.
"Jack, we're gonna be in here for about twenty minutes, and in the meantime you need to quiet down your baby. If he doesn't stop crying in five minutes go wait in the car." The man specified, to which Jack nodded as he was handed car keys and waved off toward a few empty chairs.

"Just relax, this should be painless and will only take about ten minutes. Then we'll give you some juice and a snack to eat so you don't feel dizzy and faint afterwards." The nurse smiled sweetly and patted Mark's shoulder, making sure the needle was in place before walking off.
Mark sighed and comfortably positioned himself on the bed. He really felt like a good person, donating blood and all. Even if it was partially just to get free Cedar Point tickets.
His dad glanced up from his phone, "What do you want for dinner tonight? I honestly don't feel like cooking or anything."
"Let's go to Popeyes!" Mark said excitedly, feeling a bit drowsy at this point from the blood loss. "Oh my god, dad! You know who you look just like?"
Clifton quirked an eyebrow,
"Who?"
"You look like Thor. It's cause you're all muscular and have the long blonde hair and blue eyes, did you know?"
The blonde man laughed and rolled his eyes, "Yes, I'm aware. I've only been told that by you and other people, like, a million times. I get it."
His phone suddenly chimed in his pocket,
Jack: OMG
Jack: YOOOO
C: ?
Jack: I dropped Lemon Jell-O on the way to the car and his forehead is a little scraped. Do you think if we put a Band-Aid on it he'll be okay?"
C: Lol, no.
