One and A Half Months Later
"Chick-Fa-La waffle fries are obviously better than In-N-Out basic classic fries." Kaylee says dipping her fries into the mustard yellow sauce.
"And that's where you are wrong. Because In-N-Out's fries have the perfect amount of flavor. They don't over do it or have less of it." I reply taking a bite of my simple fry.
My phone started to vibrate. Turning my phone so it didn't face the table anymore. It was a phone call from Grandma. Crap. I groaned just looking at it.
"What's wrong?" Kaylee ask putting the waffle fry into her mouth.
"My grandma is calling me. I hope it's nothing. Give me a couple minutes and I'll be back." I answer stepping over the shopping bags as I walk away.
"Take your time, we are in no rush." Kaylee replies. I smiled back at her. Making my towards the center of the second floor where there was a balcony or center thing. To let anyone look down at the first floor.
Answering Grandma's phone call.
"Hello?" Grandma said with concern in her tone.
"Hi Grandma, something wrong? Why did you call me?" I ask.
"Well, that boy appeared at our door asking where you are." Grandma answers.
"Which boy are we talking about Grandma?" I question, getting worried about her answer.
"Hmm, their name sounded Spanish when you told me. Armando? No, not that. Julian? Wait, it was Francisco!" Grandma yelped happily into the phone. She was joking, she had to be.
"That's hilarious Grandma." I reply.
"He really is. He's in our house and waiting for you. I'll stall him for a bit." Grandma happily says.
"Okay." I nodded as if she could see me now. We said our good-byes before hanging up. I walk over to the table as I see Kaylee finish her last waffle fry.
"Well, listen a family problem came up. So I'm going to go check out the problem and maybe we could come back to hang out." I announce. Kaylee nods before throwing her Chick-Fa-La bag away.
"Oh, okay. That's all good. I probably had to go back home soon anyways." Kaylee replies.
I throw the rest of my lunch away, once everything was finished. We grabbed our bags before exiting the mall. I look out the window and frowned. I had been here for a full month and two weeks. Catching up with my friends and now I had to leave because my mother decided it was time to go back.
Hey let's have Sage come back because she's having too much fun over there in California. Hahah. There goes my social life as a normal person.

"Bye Kaylee, thanks for for hanging out with me today. I'll text if we can later." I reply, but it was lie. She drives off as I reached the front door.
Pulling out my car keys from my two-toned jeans, opening up the front door. Entering the house I see Francisco sitting on the couch, helping Grandma cut out coupons. They were couponing. That mean something good.
"Sage, welcome home!" Grandma says stopping what she was doing, walking over to me embrace me.
I looked over her shoulder noticing Francisco was still continuing to cut the coupon. Grandma pulled me into her small room with a couch and table with some extra boxes, that were left there after we moved in. Which was only two years ago.
