After thirty minutes passed. The women in a beautiful two piece. A cropped top with a pair of black shorts. Rose embroidered on the top and bottom.

"Alright, our final dance of the night. It's obviously a slow dance. So get your partner, date, whatever they mean to you and dance." She said before setting the microphone down, heading off the stage.

I see men asking their partner or friends to dance. When my view is blocked after, assuming it was just a waiter asking for something.

"Want to dance?" Francisco's familiar voice hit me. I looked up at him as he held his hand out.

"S-sure." I haven't stuttered in a while it's just his question was so sudden. I grabbed his hand as he pulled me up. We walked over to the dance floor.

He puts his hands onto my the side waist. I put my hands on his shoulders.

"Why did you ask to dance with me. I hope Sofia or Martinez didn't force you to." I reply looking at Francisco. He chuckles.

"No, because you wanted to tell me something. I remembered your text from yesterday. So what's that about?" Francisco ask.

"There's no point. I know it's going to be awkward for you too." I answer.

"Well, I guess I'll go ahead with what I've been waiting to tell you for the past couple of months." Francisco replies.

"And what's that? Martinez promoted you to second in command?" I ask. He smiles at my comment.

"That's not it and I already am. But to me you are still the girl who changed how I look at things and different then any other girl I have dated. Not because you're beautiful. But because of your laughter. Your smile. Your personality most importantly. And I can't believe over these three months. Someone as happy and was like a blossoming flower  became one who didn't want water. When you were sad and hurt. Especially that first week after heading into New York. It made me question if you were the same girl." Francisco answers. I wanted to just cry at his words.

"I don't know what say. Literally." I said trying not to cry. My voice nearly was cracking like an old tee shirt.

"Don't cry." Francisco said softly.

"Francisco, I wanted to tell you that I still have feelings for you. Mine would've been so pointless and simple compared to yours." I reply.

"It wouldn't be pointless." Francisco disagreed.

"I thought you wouldn't like me back since maybe you moved on or just decided it's not worth it anymore or that you didn't like me since I was being so sad and-" before I continue on with my sentence. I felt Francisco put his lips against mine. Closing my eyes at his sudden action.

Adina

As the lady placed the plate with lasagna onto the table in front of me. I thanked her as she walked away. In the corner of my eye I noticed Francisco and Sage walking down the steps.

Francisco gripped what seem to be tight onto Sage's hand. I rolled my eyes in disgust. He used to my man. The night he proposed to me. I told him I was a spy for the Russian mafia.

That's before I even knew Sage existed. When I found out that Sage and Francisco had a relationship. I was of course jealous and I still am. But Sage doesn't even deserve him. He's too good for her.

After clearing that out of my mind. I looked up and notice that they were kissing. I stabbed my fork deep into the lasagna.

I see Sage walk over to the bathroom. Again. Francisco pulled out his phone as he stood alone. I got up listening to my shoes clicking across the floor.

"Long time, no see." I said.

He places his phone into his back pocket. He looked at me. Anger is the first expression on his face.

"No." Francisco replies bluntly.

"You need to know something important." I said. All of the sudden Sage appears. She had an annoyed look on my face.

"Oh you two know each other?" Sage ask walking up to the of us.

"Yes, we have quite a lot of history. But we should be going now Sage." Francisco answers. Francisco said walking past me and Sage behind him.

He's still held the deep grudge against me. He wasn't too upset that night I told him. But we broke up and he kicked me out of the estate. I was just a spy. Now imagine, he find outs that the girl he's been kissing, hugging, lying his fingers on.

Is really the daughter of the man who killed his own father at the age of thirteen.

So what did you guys think of this chapter? Francisco and Sage's first kiss in this book! At chapter thirty eight!

Okay, so many people have complained about how in the first book that their relationship moved too fast. That was the whole purpose.

That's why they didn't date for the longest time and wanted to be just friends. They both admitted their feelings. Which Francisco's was really adorable when he did it.

Adina, a lot will be added about her and she has back story. She explained some of it. Now what does Francisco have to say about her?

Also in the first draft of this book. Francisco and Sage do-it. Right after Tristan dies. Which was messed up. And why there's such a big time difference.

This time, it won't happen right after their date. Since they just had a kiss from nearly four months later after dating.

I have a better time for that to happen. It will be a very cute one. Now finally. Even though Adina hasn't been completely introduced.

You will have some mixed emotions about her. I do since she is based off of a friend of mine. I think she is a bad ass. Well somewhat, anyways.

#TeamSage or #TeamAdina or if you're that neutral person #TeamFrancisco? 😂
