One Week Later

A week since we finally came back home to New Jersey. It was sad when we were leaving, but I guess it was for the best. The estate was finally repaired.

Almost crying when I saw everyone. Even Martinez. The man is mostly annoyed by me. Most of the guys have been in and out of the house with Francisco to visit his mom.

It was only Halle and I home for the day. Tom and Jo said they were going to pick up someone from the airport. It was quote on quote a surprise.

Rafael and Liam headed to headed to the west estate to pick up some things. Francisco, Martinez, Valeria, and Sofia went to New York. Jazz obviously went to work.

After that night, Francisco and I remained friends. We didn't kiss anymore. We just acted like normal friends. Suddenly he could've lost interest because of that night.

"Come on Sage. Please. You know where the car keys are and we haven't even been to mall in decades." Halle says. I rolled my eyes at her complaint for nearly the hundredth time.

"Halle, Francisco and I are only good terms. Please, I am not trying to get you kicked out of here and Martinez would kill me." I reply.

"Is that all what matters to you?" Halle said changing her tone. I knew this was about Francisco.

"What? Francisco?" I ask sitting up from the pillow.

"Yes, because everything seems to always be about Francisco with you. I know that you had one kiss with him and apparently he's the most important soul to you." Halle answers.

"I'm not the one who cheated on my boyfriend. Along with the fact Francisco was there for three past months for me." I argued.

"At least my boyfriend is still alive and I was the Skype calling you everyday. Don't act like I didn't do anything." Halle replies bitterly.

I looked at Halle. She was about to say something, but I stopped her. Reminding me that Tristan dies was beyond past the line.

"I'm sorry that you and Francisco have this uncontrollable beef for each other that can't be ended. But he's been there for me since what happened." I said. "So please, keep your opinions to yourself, because I would rather not take your advice on how to live my life. Because you haven't been helping me."

"Fine, if you're going to chose your friend boy over me. That's your choice. But don't come crawling back when your lover boy decides to drop you for someone else." Halle replies walking out of my room, slamming the door behind her.

I just wanted to freaking slap that girl with a sandal. She was being so annoying. I couldn't describe how much I just wanted punch her.

"We are home!" I heard Tom's voice strike me. I got off the bed hurrying up the stairs. Noticing another man with Jo and Tom. He was Asian. As Francisco had told me a couple months back, Jo had a brother that he liked more than Jo.

"This is quite the surprise." I said.

"Sage! Perfect timing. And yes this is the surprise. My brother is finally back from Japan." Jo replies walking over to me, his brother following behind him.

"I am Lee. The older and more charming brother of Jo." He said sarcastically. I chuckled at his cockiness.

"Well I am Sage, daughter of Isabeli Reid. Since you haven't been here too long. I thought you would want to know." I reply. He smiles at that.

"Lee, when does Dakota return?" Tom asked. I was going to ask that, but I didn't want to ruin the moment of meeting him.

"I don't know and I don't give a fuck. Dakota and I are longer partner. We separated early April. Because of a disagreement." Lee answers sternly.

Seems like he acted somewhat like Francisco. More serious and seemed tougher than Jo. Maybe he wasn't smarter or more of a hacker. But he seems to be more of a attacker.

"Come on Lee, even after what happen. That's not fair. He was your partner before what happened. We need to make sure he's okay." Tom replies.

"He's not leaving till tomorrow. Because he would rather not have to be with me on the plane." Lee said turning around to face Tom.

"Martinez won't be happy to hear that. You know that him and Dakota are pretty good friends." Jo reminds him.

"I guess that's too bad. Because that's Dakota's problem not mind." Lee replies. "On the subject of Martinez. Where's Sofia or Francisco or Martinez?"

"They went to go visit Francisco's mother. Since she is dying of cancer and this is second time. It came back for an unknown reason. Who knows they'll be coming back." Jo says.

"That fucking sucks. What else did I miss while I was gone?" Lee ask. Tom and Jo looked at each other.

"Martinez and Sofia have gotten engaged. He also got her pregnant. We got a new house maid, Valeria. Sage was taken for Isabeli, she met Isabeli, Miles was a trader. We hired two new men. Correction three, one of them betrayed us. Rafael and Liam are the new ones. Any other questions?" Tom explained half of that while Jo continued on about the other half.

"Where's the one who betrayed you guys?" Lee asked folding his arms.

"Down in the training room. After three months, he still hasn't gave us the answers we have needed. We are basically waiting him out. Right when he gives us the answer. We put a bullet right between the eyes" Tom answers.

"I'll come visit this traitor soon as Martinez and Francisco come home. Anyways, before that happens. I'm going to unpack my things. I am just glad to be home after five months in Japan." Lee explains.

"I will come help you." Jo said.

Lee nods as they both headed down the hallway which lead towards the men's rooms.

A actual chapter without Francisco's character present? Surprising? But do you like Lee? He's based off my friend Adam.

Next chapter will introduce Dakota and what happened between Lee and Dakota. Because they were once friends, now foe.
