Instead of my eyes descending open slowly. They snapped open. I glanced up at the grey ceiling, of a room? I thought confusedly. But when I felt my head hit the floor. I realized that I wasn't in room, but in the back of a car.
Successfully pushing myself up. I almost fell back. Not realizing that my hands were tied up. I pushed my back against the cup holders that were in the back. Attached the car. I glanced down at my tied wrist.
Pocking my head up over the seat and found Adina, humming to some of the faded music. I could possibly make her crash into something. Allowing me some time to escape.
I carefully, quietly, and quickly. Pushed myself up and over the leather car seats. Allowing one of my legs to get over the seats. Treating it as if I was climbing over a wall. Adina had my pistol in the cup holders. Still not noticing I had woken up.
Successfully climbing over the seats and I ducked behind Adina's chair. Planning the right moment to attack her. I glanced out the window, noticing that she was driving me to the middle of nowhere.
I see her glancing around, left and right. Before she steps on the gas. She drives at eighty-five miles. Perfect. I reached over the chair and yanked her head back. She screams as her reflex. Swerving the car. Left and right.
Slamming on the breaks. Which was her mistake. The last thing I could fully focus was the hood of the car slamming onto the road. As the car flipped over and rolled. I shut my eyes, which somewhat muted out the pain.
Minutes later, I opened my eyes and find myself on the roof of the car. The rope on wrist were very loose. I used my thumbs to free myself from the tied rope. Pushing my injured body up. The whole car was flipped over.
I felt a warm liquid oozing down my forehead. I wiped my finger across it, taking my finger down and glanced at it. Crimson red, blood. Of course. I looked everywhere for that damn pistol. But it wasn't there.
That's when I saw it, lying on the road. I reached up to ceiling, which now was the car door. I pulled the handle. Shoving the door up. I pulled myself up. I shut the door. Jumping off the flipped over car.
In the process, I fell to the ground. I groaned in pain, knowing I should've found a safer way down the car. As I stood up. I hear a gun being prepared to shoot me. I turned to my left. Finding Adina with the pistol pointing directly at me. She had a large cut on her forehand and lip. Allowing blood to be visible.
"I will spare you life. If you just walk with me to the warehouse." Adina said pointing the gun directly at me. I turned around, finding a worn out building.
"Fine." I agreed, unsatisfied with my choice. Before I could start leading the way. Adina hustles up to me, shoving that pistol up to the temple of my head.

Reaching the second floor to the warehouse. Adina's pistol still direct against the temple of my head. I stopped in place and waiting for Adina's next demands.
"Keep going until we get outside to that balcony." Adina demands. Instead of attempting to fight back, I just listened to her commands.
Finally reaching the balcony, Adina slams the pistol against my head. I turned around quickly and she her arms, ready and out. Almost as I let her shove me. I moved out of the way. Grabbing her wrist, tightly. As she let the pistol out of her hand. We both looked over balcony. As the pistol slammed against the ice below. Causing a large crack expand in the ice.
I feel a strong slam against my pinky finger. I turned to my right. As Adina struggled to pull the knife from wooden railing. As I almost ran the other way. She threw the knife close to my foot.
Just fight back.
I turned towards her. She prepared herself and was nearly ready to through another knife. I saw the reflection of the snow and pastel sky on the knife. I picked up the knife from the ground as fast as I could. I ran towards Adina.
She throws the knife, but misses and it hits the ground behind me. I get ready to swing the knife. That's until, she slams my body into the weak railing. I hear it snap. Adina slams into me again. We both fell of the balcony. Shutting my eyes. When I hear more cracking.
I opened eyes and found myself staring at the sky. I carefully shove myself up. I found Adina lying there. But she shoves her head up. I crawled towards the knife in the ground. I successfully grab it. Pushing myself up.
I stood up trying to not break the glass. I walked over towards Adina. I needed to just get her off the ice and let the guys finish her off. I hated hurting anyone.
"Sage!" In the distant, that loud and signature voice of Francisco. I turned to my right. Find Francisco and Rafael in the distance. The ice cracks became more significant. Before I could even carefully continue forward.
Adina and I became submerged under the water. I glanced up. Just like the movies. I couldn't find the opening or gap of the glass. My body quickly became more colder and closer by the second.
I swam up to the top. Slamming my hand against the ice. Till I noticed the gap from afar. Swimming towards it quickly. I reached up and pulled myself up. My head came out of the water. Inhaling and exhaling was like my best friend at the moment.
I see Francisco glancing directly at me. But before I climb out of the water. Adina tugs me back into the cold water. Pain hit me in my abdomen and soon reached my lower body.
My eyes suddenly closed on their own. My body became numb and it became harder to move my fingers or body in general.
Was I Dead?
