The next morning. My head was throbbing like crazy. I looked up at the ceiling, recognizing that it was not my room. I was surely in the living room.
That's when I noticed that Francisco's bedroom door was opened. His office was shut. He wasn't home I presumed. Getting off the couch to the counter.
There was a note in bright pink. I pick it up looked at Francisco's nicely done handwriting. I am out with Martinez. I'll be back by two. If not get ready before I come home. -Francisco.
Butterflies swarm my stomach. I had almost forgotten that tonight we were going on the date. I wanted to not think it was a date, but there was no other way to think about in a long term way.
When I was about grab something from the fridge someone knocked on the front door. Before I answer the door. I hurriedly up the stairs and squirted toothpaste onto the brush.
Brushing my teeth while walking down the stairs. I walk over to the door. On my tippy toes to peak through the door. I see a man carrying a rack of dresses. Sofia. I texted her last light during the movie.
I opened the door. The man didn't look too interested in his job. While bringing in the rack of dresses. Sofia entered the penthouse room. She thanked the man. He nodded just leaving.
The door shuts. She instantly embraces me. But realizes when she did and pulls away smiling at me. It looked like she was about jump up with joy and trying to tell me something.
"Your hair grew and it seems you got a bit taller. You are still so beautiful. I missed you so much." Sofia compliments.
"Thank you Sofia, you're so kind and words are so sweet." I reply. Sofia smiles.
"Before we continue on with everything. I am expecting in eight months." Sofia said.
"Congratulations! What gender do you want it to be?" I ask.
"Martinez and I want a boy. But with our luck we will probably get a girl. Which would be amazing too." Sofia answers.
"Whats these dresses for?" I ask.
"Francisco called me this morning telling Martinez and I that you two were going on a date. A friendly one at least. It needed to be fancy to dress up. So I brought along these dresses that would fit you. Along with make up palates that would be perfect for you." Sofia answers showing me the rack.
"Well don't you think it's early?" I ask.
"Honey, its twelve. We need to get you perfectly ready. I know you really think it's that special since you and Francisco aren't a couple anymore. But dressing up fancy maybe will catch some other boy's attention." Sofia answers.
"Actually, I still have feelings for Francisco or I might have caught them again. I know it might seem crazy but these past months made me start making me feel like he's the one." I reply. Sofia had a small smile.
"That's a good thing, because Francisco never lost feelings for you. He's been telling me that you have always been the one. But he didn't want to tell you since you were still trying to cope with what happened to Tristan." Sofia said. I wanted to just jump for joy.
"What? Is that all he said?" I ask.
"Well he was worried that if you still were trying to cope and he told you. Then you wouldn't feel the same way. Which would've concluded to him feeling bad." Sofia answers.
"I'll admit to him tonight. I've been waiting to tell him for a couple days. But I think tonight will be the perfect moment." I reply.
"In the mean time. Let's go get you a haircut, pedicure done, and some white heels." Sofia said.
"Okay, let me go take a quick shower and apply some regular makeup." I say.
She nodded. I hurried back up the stairs continuing to brush my teeth even past the mint burning my mouth.

Francisco
Sliding the key card. The small circle light flashed green. I opened the door. Expecting Sage to be in the kitchen or at least in the living room.
Hurried up the stairs. Her bedroom door was shut. Praying she would be in her bedroom. The lamp was the only think illuminating the room. I pulled out my phone. Calling Sage. In a couple of seconds, she picked up the phone or I thought it was her.
"Hello?" Sage said. That gave me the ultimate sign of relief.
"Where are you?" I ask sternly.
"Sofia took me out, we are out eating." Sage answers softly. That still had me worried.
"Well, be back home soon. Because it's not safe being out too long. Especially with Sofia." I reply racking my hand through my hair.
"Okay, we will be home in about in hour or so." Sage said. We both said our goodbyes before hanging out.
Leaving Sage's bedroom. Checking the time using my Apple Watch. It was only four twenty-two. I decided to go ahead and take a quick shower, then get dressed. Maybe Sage would hopefully be home in time.
Walking down the stairs. I noticed a note left on the counter top. Maybe I should've read this before calling Sage and panicking.
Flicking the note, I read it slowly. I will be out with Sofia to do somethings. I'll hopefully be home by four. But don't worry too much. I'll be safe. -Sage.
I felt just a little bit of relief hit me. She was going to be fine. Walked over to my bedroom. Entering the room. I walk into the bathroom. Turning on the shower preparing it for myself.
My phone vibrated. I walked over to the table besides my bed. Picking it up, the text was from Sage. Reading the text to myself. Tonight, can we talk about something I've been needing to tell you. I've been waiting to tell you.
