From what I have taken from twenty-nineteen is that life is truly unfair. The news that I took in last night has broken my heart and sent me through denial. I scrolled through my Twitter to find Godfrey Gao trending, which was new since he hadn't been previously. I wanted to find good news, but what I received in return was not.
He was only thirty-five years old, which is thirty-five years too young. He did not deserve to leave so soon, and nobody does. It's truly heartbreaking and something so sudden, yet unfair.
I might not have personally known Godfrey, but as I chose him for a muse — even though for a fictional character. I have felt a little connected with him and his character. It breaks my heart that a man who I just chose as a muse, is the same man who we lost.
You will always be in my heart Godfrey. Sending love and condolences to his family ❤️
