The sound of plates clinging together was present at the dining table. It was fairly quiet. During breakfast we weren't loud or didn't have many conversations.
Tristan gave me the news this morning that he was going to leave back to California. He plans on helping the kids in Africa with a group of students from our school.
Which was sweet. But this meant he was going to be gone for a couple of months. It seems that UCLA was going to be low on students. Since most of the students were planning on doing something else before heading into college.
Sadly I was going to be one of this student. UCLA, told me that I was accepted into their school. I could sign up for classes anytime. But who knew, maybe their minds would change.
Halle was planning on doing some things that involved vacations, or somethings to get off her bucket list before going to UC Berkeley. It was different that we wanted to go to two other colleges that were far from each other.
Tristan planned on going to UCLA. But he also wanted to go to Stanford. Which he was also had the chose to go since he was accepted into those two colleges.
Some of the smartest students were accepted into colleges out of California. There was a girl in chemistry class who was accepted into Harvard. She was more lucky than me.
Besides thinking of school since I wouldn't be going in a while. I couldn't say I hoped things would clear up for the Russian mafia, because that was my father. Maybe he was more pleasant than my mother.
Since they were both part of something big and illegal. I think they would act the same. I didn't have any hope in the both of them changing their ways.
"I would like to announce that I am leaving to Africa for three months to help the starving children." Tristan begins breaking my focus from my college mind thoughts.
I see Francisco whisper something into Martinez's ears. Martinez chuckles, turning his attention back to Tristan. He looked at Tristan his thumb touching his index finger.
"Well, when are you leaving?" Martinez ask in his stern cold voice.
"This Thursday. In the afternoon. It has been really nice of you letting me stay at this really nice estate." Tristan answers.
"Sounds good, I hope you enjoy your time in Africa. Remember not to get eaten by the lions." Francisco replied with no tone of sarcasm in his tone.
Tristan didn't reply to Francisco comment. He just looked at him with a wary look. Sofia cleared her throats to get our attention.
"Well that sounds like good news, Tristan. I hope everything is safe over there." Sofia replies walking her plate over to the sink cleaning it. She narrowed her eyes towards Francisco.
He just shrugged his shoulders towards her. After breakfast was finished. I helped Sofia clean up the plates. While I was washing the plates. I felt a sudden presence of someone putting their plate into the sink full of water.
"Tristan, why didn't you put your plate into the water earlier?" I asked, assuming it was him. Since the hand looked famously familiar.
"Well wouldn't you be disappointed if it wasn't Tristan." Francisco's said in a very stern bitter tone.
"Why are being so mean to Tristan?" I ask using the sponge to clean the dirty plate.
"I am not, I was just warning him not to get eaten by the lions. Who knows what could happen." Francisco answered in a very sarcastic voice.
"Seriously Francisco. You know what you are? Jealous." I reply.
"What? Doesn't sound right." Francisco says chuckling.
"J-e-a-l-o-u-s. That's the perfect definition of how you are feeling." I reply, trying not to laugh.
"You caught me, red handed. That's how I feel." Francisco replies.
He was the only guy that had ever been jealous of someone being with me. That surprised me. I looked at him. He was being serious. His eyes looked soft, his expression looked like he was hurt.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because, for one you moved on and I let you go." Francisco answers. I could tell that he was being serious. No fake or sarcastic tone.
"Well, I guess maybe things weren't meant to be." I reply more annoyed than anything else.
"I guess so too." Francisco says walking away. Oh my heck Sage. He is obviously hurt by your answer. The one boy who actually freaking cares about your opinion.
"Francisco. I know we aren't dating or have feelings for each other anymore. But we are still friends. Right?" I ask.
"Yeah, of course." Francisco answers.
I knew that he didn't lose feelings for me. He still had some. Anyone could tell if they knew Francisco and I were a couple once, but then broke up.
"You coming down to the room in a bit?" Tristan ask standing at my side.
"Yes, just had to clean up some dishes. Helping out Sofia." I answer.
"When you are done. We need to talk about something important." Tristan replies. He starts to walk off.
Nikolay
"Ahhh!" Andres screams in pain.
I started to slide the knife from his thigh. I imagined him as Francisco. Evil as it might sound. This made the process much easier.
Only because Andres was one of my most trusted men. But he failed me. The knife came out of his leg. It was full of crimson red blood.
Someone appeared in the room. I could recognize the hairstyle. It was Mathias. He signed up to work for Martinez and some how got the job. Now ever three weeks. He comes to let me know the info.
"Did you know that Francisco and Sage broke up?" Mathias says putting his hands in his pockets.
"They were a thing?" I ask.
"Yes. They broke up due to a mission failure which Francisco blames her for the reason they had failed. This was months back." Mathias answers.
I walk over to pick up my carbon pistol. My daughter dating that prick. I made the right decision of killing his father. Now it was time to take out the whole Mendes family once and for all. Starting with Francisco finishing it off with his mother.
Reloading the weapon, readying the trigger. Andres beat up face looked at me. I smiled, before pulling the trigger. Each time got easier and faster.
"Well, soon we will come up with a plan. Martinez won't see it coming." I reply chuckling.
