Three Days Later
Francisco

My apartment was quiet and chilly. I put my dress jacket down on the couch. I didn't care about anything, tonight was so hectic and other shit I didn't care about.

Sage was my main worry. I haven't talked to her in what seems like a week. But to be exact, it has been only three full days. Every time she would see, she would ignore me or walk away.

I took a seat on the couch. I was so tired, I could fall asleep. I regretted going to the event with Martinez. All men did was come up and ask about some offering or trades.

I grabbed my phone from the coffee table. I have never missed my phone so much. A couple text from Sofia, along with some from Jo.

Shutting my eyes, letting my mind wander. Soon from wandering to dreaming. My fingers touched the pavement. It was cold and rough.

"Bye grandma!" I hear Sage's voice.

As I stood up. I see Sage in that tacky black sparkly dress. She started walking with her small purse, along with her phone in her hand.

"Sage!" I call.

She continues walking pretending to ignore me. I attempted to chase after her, when there was an invisible barrier of some sort.

A black Mercedes pulls up from behind her, stopping the car. A man exits from the car. He begins walking towards Sage.

"Sage!" I yell once again. She turns around, but it's already too late. The middle aged man grabs her. I couldn't yell anymore or move.

*vibrate* *vibrate* I open my eyes. It was all just a dream. Good. I see text from Sofia, just thirty minutes ago. It was just a text about the plan we have for tomorrow.

I slammed my head against the couch. The only person that had come to mind when I thought of someone was Sage. It wasn't my fault. It was Tom and Halle's. But was it really?

Sage

Halle sat next to me on the bench as I looked at the hair cut scissors. Back at myself in the mirror. I grab the scissors from the squared counter top.

"Okay I want you to cut it above the shoulders." I demanded.

"That's a lot. Are you sure? Your hair is down to the center of your back" Halle ask grabbing the scissors from hand.

"Yes, please. Do it fast." I said quickly.

I hear the thunder from outside the bathroom window. I hear the snips of my hair. I shut my eyes. I waited for it to be done. In about ten minutes. Halle stopped cutting.

I open my eyes. My hair looked different. It brought out the difference in my look. I looked down on the floor. It was full of hair.

"Well, now we are going to dye your hair light brown at the tips." Halle says putting the gloves on, she pulls the tin foil out.

Three hours passed. It was about ten thirty. Halle took the tin foil off. I looked at my hair as Halle started to blow dry it.

It was very different. I looked different. Somewhat. Not as familiar as I used to look. Halle begin to sweep up the floor. I helped her. It seems that teamwork does the shop, because we were done quickly.
