Francisco
Rafael, Liam, Matias all smile at us. They give each other high-fives before they departed to get their belongings from their cars."I'm going to go talk to Sage. She's the one that even helped me get the job." Rafael announces. I glanced over at him as I felt Myself boil from anger.
"Um, let me go check on her to make sure she's not doing something she doesn't want you to see." I reply, giving the worst excuse in mankind.
Rafael nods, following Liam and Matias out the front door. I hurried down the stairs. My hand landed on the door knob. I open the door. Sage was laying on the bed. She turn to look at me. Her eyes widened.
"What the hell are you pulling down here? Rafael supposedly knows where your bedroom is?" I ask glaring at her. She sits up on her bed.
"I know you're upset me with after what happen when Jazz took to the club. But I wanted to help him. He asked for prepping. He was nervous. Don't put your anger on his shoulders, put it on me." Sage rambles randomly.
"Don't worry I wasn't planning on putting it on Rafael anyways. You will be helping Sofia. No more easy life." I reply, Rafael was no longer relevant to our conversation.
"It can't be that hard anyways." Sage says. I had to push it more. No more sweet-easy going Francisco.
"Believe what you want, but this is why Sofia gets the special things of many things." I reply honestly.
"That's not even that bad." Sage reminds me once more.
"You didn't even let me finish. You are not allowed outside the house without letting Martinez or me know." I thought of another idea quickly.
"You're kidding right. You take over my life and now this. Might as well just tell me I can't brush my teeth or do my makeup without your consent." Sage replies. If that's was she wanted, might as well add that.
"I mean if that's what you really want. I could add that." I say sternly.
"No, I love the rule the way it is." Sage replies in a very sarcastic tone. I look over finding her phone sitting on her dresser. She wouldn't notice. I walk over Sage's dresser, Taking her phone from charger.
"That was not part of the plan." Sage says getting off the bed quickly.
"I don't care. You broke my trust. And I can't trust you with a phone. Who knows maybe you will call the police." I reply walking to the door before leaving. That's when something hit the door.
I walk up the stairs. Jazz get off the chair. I roll my eyes at her frustration. She sat back down. Making my way up the stairs. My bedroom complete darkness. I pressed the light switch to turn it on.
Pulling out my drawer. I put Sage's phone down, I fixed the lock. The drawer locks. I got up. My bathroom lights were on, probably went to do something but forget and went to do the meeting.
But that reminded me to take a shower. It has been the longest and roughest day of my life. I had to deal with Sage's attitude, worked with men that don't know the difference between a toy and a gun, and I think a shower would be the best.
Sage
The sun peered through the window blinds. It was only nine-thirty in the morning. I pulled the comforter over my face to block it. I surely couldn't block something else or someone else.
"Sage, it's time! You need to come up and help Sofia." Francisco's face blew up in my head. I wanted to march off and tackle him to the ground, punching me about three hundred times.
I hear the door slam. Throwing the covers off from my face. I lean over to my dresser trying to find my phone. That's when it hit me. Francisco has your phone.
"Oh my freaking heck!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I started to scramble through my clothes. I found a twofer dress. I remember when Grandma told me that I had too many twofers. Which had a cute gingham design.
But I always adored a tee shirt with a tank top. I set it on my bed, folded. Walking into my bathroom, brushed my teeth, took a nice long shower, and got dressed.
I turn to my bedroom door when it opens. Revealing Francisco. I frown at the sight. I never wanted to just slap him so much.
"You were supposed to be upstairs about ten minutes ago." Francisco says.
I turn off the lights in the bathroom and closet. I hated that Francisco nearly watched all of my movements. I finally reach the door where he was stranding. I turn off my main bedroom lights.
I follow Francisco up the stairs. He brings me to the kitchen. Where Sofia was currently pouring syrup onto waffles.
"You'll be helping Sofia, after you will go help Martinez organize his office, then help Sofia with laundry." Francisco says. I nodded.
Francisco walks down the hall where the offices were. Sofia put some small strawberries on the waffles. I turn the faucet on and begin washing my hands.
"Francisco has been really hard on you after yesterday." Sofia begins.
"He's just jealous of Rafael." I reply.
"Why would you say that?" Sofia ask handing me a plate with a fresh plain waffle on it. I started to put syrup on it.
"Because I accidentally met Rafael yesterday. He was wondering off in the basement in search for a bathroom. I helped him. Which later he didn't mean to tell Francisco but did. So now I'm here." I answer placing the strawberries on the waffle.
"He will get over it. He's just been really stressed out about the Russian mafia." Sofia replies.
"I hope he does. Um, on the topic about Francisco. Did he date anyone in the month period I was gone?" I ask.
"Surprisingly, no. Probably because he was thinking about you." Sofia answers in happy tone, which I loved about Sofia. She seemed always happy. Our conversation was interrupted when there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Sofia volunteers.
She walks to the door. Opening it. The next person I see walking in had two duffle bags, and a luggage.
