The peanut butter came off as I put it against the bread. This had satisfied me since I was about eight when Grandma showed me how to make my own peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
I thought it was the most amazing thing in the world. I would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I finished the peanut butter toast for Halle. I put the knife in a cup full of water in the sink.
I close the peanut butter jar, before placing it back into the fridge along with the bread.
"I never had just peanut butter and bread in a while." Halle says bitting a piece of bread off.
I smile, I walk over to the bathroom that was nearest to the kitchen. Which was by the stairs. I opened the door. I look at myself.
It did look short last night. But after finally combing it out. It had at the same with my shoulders. It was fine. I didn't want to have a Dora haircut.
I made sure my outfit looked okay. I had on a crimson red jumpsuit with small white flowers all on it. Hitting the light switch to turn off the light.
I walk out of the bathroom. Tom was walking into the kitchen with Jo. I followed behind Jo.
"Good morning Sage." Jo says slowing down to catch up with me.
"Morning, Jo. It feels like we haven't talked in a while since, um Francisco and I had a little fight." I reply. Jo chuckles.
"Well, when I asked Francisco what happened. He told me to stay out of it." Jo says in a sweet soft voice.
I feel like Jo is the sweetest member. Maybe he was forced to join or he needed some money and this was the only solution.
"Wow, he's pretty feisty like that. Francisco's personality is just an arrogant a-hole. I don't know why he's upset all the time." I reply tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"Oh promise me. Four years working with him. Is a pain in the ass." Jo says.
"If I knew Francisco for three months and he acts the same every time. I think I can understand four years." I reply chuckling. Jo joins in my laugh.
We departed our ways as he sat down at the table with Tom, Martinez, Liam, and Rafael. Francisco was nowhere to be seen. I still didn't know wether to accept his apology or just tell him. Listen things didn't work out this time, maybe later.
But that would break his heart. Even though he's broken mine many times. I stopped thinking to myself about him as I took a seat down on the bar stool.
I hear someone walking down the stairs. I turn over to look, assuming it was Halle. But it was Francisco. Not just wearing his regular tee-shirt with jeans, but black dress pants with a white dress shirt.
That seems to his best outfit, because he looked that outfit. At least I thought he did.
"What's the event?" Sofia questions.
"Um, well it wouldn't be surprise to Sage if I told you." Francisco replies.
"A date isn't a surprised." Halle says.
I looked at her and bulged my eyes. She looks back down at her cereal. My cheeks blushed at the thought of Francisco's surprise. Maybe a date or something fancy.
"Well, we need to go right now. So we will be back home tonight." Francisco says. I got off of the bar stool walking down the stairs.
Entering my bedroom to look for my small purse, grabbing my light pink Bebe purse. I walked into my bathroom. Spraying perfume on, applying a little bit more of deodorant and lipstick, and putting on my clear with my red Lokai bracelets.
"Impressing someone?" Francisco's voice interrupts my thoughts. I turn over to his direction. I notice him siting on my bed, fidgeting with his Apple Watch.
"Just myself." I lie, obviously being him which was the one I wanted to impress.
"I don't think if you're trying to impress yourself. You apply perfume, put on bracelets and lipstick. Adding with deodorant." Francisco says.
"Well, I guess I'm just awkward sausage." I reply.
"Awkward what?" Francisco ask chuckling. I roll my eyes at him.
"Well I'm ready to go now." I answer using my hands to pull down my jumpsuit. Francisco looks at my outfit. He smiles.
"Okay, lets go." Francisco response spinning the car keys around his fingers.
Following behind Francisco. I turn off the bedroom light on my way out. He walks up the stairs much quicker than I did. Probably due to the fact I had white mini heels.
Francisco opens the front door for me. I walk out and waited for Francisco to catch up with me. He unlocks his Mercedes car. My heels clicked across the cement floor.
I got into the car. He gets into the drivers seat. Putting his key into the ignition. Pulling my seatbelt down, listening to the click.
He puts on his seatbelt. Before backing up the car out of the driveway. I muted every other sound. I just zoned out when I look out the window. I opened up my purse and pull out my rounded sunglasses. I put them on and zone out completely.
I hear Francisco talking, but that was in the back of my mind. Till something caught my attention. Do you still talk to Tristan? The question that rang through my mind.
"No, you took my phone away and why?" I answer in a low soft tone, looking at Francisco.
His light brown eyes illuminated in sunrise. It looked like hazel eyes. I had almost forgotten about the topic we were talking about.
"Well, I was going through my stuff and looked at your notifications. Tristan messaged you about something. I don't remember. I just know it from him." Francisco replies.
"Mr. Nosey." I say in a sarcastic voice.
"Have you decided about accepting my apology yet?" Francisco ask.
"I'm still thinking about it." I answer.
"Well, just letting you know, this is about an hour drive to get where we need to get to." Francisco acknowledges me.
What could be so special about this surprise?
